DURING Prayag Mahakumbh the Vishwa Hindu Parishad will undertake many activities. First the meeting of Kendriya Margdarshak Mandal will be held on February 6. The next day a Sant Sammelan will be organised and on February 8 the Akhil Bharatiya Karyakarta Sammelan will be organised.

According to VHP spokesperson Shri Prakash Sharma, leading saints will attend the Margdarshak Mandal meeting. The Sant Sammelan is expected to register the participation of over 10,000 saints. They will take up the issues such as Sri Ram Janmabhoomi, politics of appeasement, aggression by culturally destabilising and degenerating forces, religious conversions and infiltration, cow protection, protection of mutt-Mandirs, protection of the Ganga, etc.  The Karyakarta Sammelan will decide on the mechanism to carry forward and successfully implementing the decisions of the saints in over 600,000 villages. All the key office-bearers of the VHP, including members of its central team, will attend the meetings.  (FOC)
