RENOWNED fashion designer and  national executive member of BJP – Shaina NC  has been nominated as Executive World Chairman of Giants International – a social service organisation working in the field of Family Planning, Disaster Management, Environment Conservation, Medical, Education and Water Harvesting in its Central Committee Meeting. Since the last 40 years, father of Shaina NC, Padmashree Nana Chudasama served the organisation as its World Chairman and will continue to be the World Chairman.
Giants International was formed during September 1972 at Jogeshwari in Mumbai. The foundation and basis of this movement was the courage of conviction more leadership and intellectual integrity of the Indian people in accepting Giants as visible alternative to other similar service organisations operating in India but with headquarters in foreign countries. Giants thus became the first India based international service organisation.
Giants was indeed fortunate to have within it, right from its inception a man called Nana Chudasama, who took over the reigns when Giants was still learning to stand.
The membership of Giants is open to all caste and creed, man and woman, it is the only service organisation which gives full-fledged membership to women.
September 17, is Giants Founder’s Day. Each year, the event is celebrated as a gala function by honouring outstanding personalities from different spheres of society whose contribution in their chosen fields have been indeed outstanding.
