Sixth Guru Golwalkar Kavya Samman conferred on Shiv Om Ambar

Sixth Guru Golwalkar Kavya Samman conferred on Shiv Om Ambar

Sixth Guru Golwalkar Kavya Samman was presented to noted Hindi poet Shri Shiv Om Ambar on October 9. The Samman, instituted by Delhi unit of the Sanskar Bharati, was started during the birth centenary celebration of Shri Guruji in 2006. The first Samman was presented to Shri Krishna Mitra. Later, Shri Chhailbihari Vajpayee, Shri Balbir Singh ‘Karun’ and others were also honoured.

Mayor of Delhi Prof. Rajni Abbi, former LG of Delhi Shri Vijay Kapoor, patron of Sanskar Bharati Shri Yogendraji, joint organising secretary of Sanskar Bharati Shri Amirchand and many other distinguished personalities of Delhi were present on the occasion.

This year the Sanskar Bharati has also instituted a Samman in the memory of its senior leader Gopal Krishna Arora who passed away last year. The first Smriti Samman was presented to Shri Naresh Shandilya. A Kavi Sammelan was also organised on the occasion. Leading Hindi poets including Shri Rajesh Chetan, Shri Gajendra Solanki, Shri Madan Mohan ‘Samar’, Shri Ghanshyam Agrawal, Sardar Manjit Singh, Ritu Goel, etc. presented their poems at the Kavi Sammelan.         (FOC)
