“SERVICE removes the feeling of ego. Those people who have love and compassion in their heart for the society should sit together with the deprived people and try to wipe out their tears. It will help them to join the mainstream,” said RSS Akhil Bharatiya Sewa Pramukh Shri Sitaram Kedilaya. He was speaking at the annual function of Sewa Bharati, Kashi on May 1.
Shri Kedilaya called upon the people to spare some time for the deprived people and help at least one person. Chief Guest of the function Shri Shishir Vajpayee said the work of the Sewa Bharati depends upon the social contribution and everybody should contribute in the form of time, money in this yajna.
Dr Prabodhini Panda of the Sampoornanand Sanskrit Vishwavidyalaya said there was no social inequality during the Vedic period and the whole society used to join the yajna performed in those days. Prant president of Sewa Bharati Shri Radhakrishan Somani also spoke on the occasion. Kshetra Sewa Pramukh Shri Naval Kishore and many other distinguished people were also present on the occasion.
