TALKING to Organiser, PS Sreedharan Pillai, top advocate, former State President of BJP and National Executive member said the CPM devoid of Christian/Muslim vote-banks, will aggressively woo the Hindus to win Assembly polls in 2011. “Its attempts to woo the Christian/Muslim vote-banks from 2004 have back- fired with these vote-banks solidly going back to UDF,” he said.

“When communist won through ballot in 1957, Ram Manohar Lohia described it as victory of ‘Political Hinduism’ The CPM is playing this same card now. VS Atchudanandan speaks of the jehadi plan to Islamise Kerala in 20 years, sheds tears for victims of ‘Love Jehad’ and Pinarayi Vijayan attacks Christian Bishops. This is a ploy to play the ‘Hindu Card’ and bring the Hindu devout to its fold. The CPM has a jackal’s eye on the 10-12 lakh votes which BJP has been constantly retaining. It wants to weaken the BJP and emerge as the true custodian of Kerala’s Hindus.”

“National print, electronic media is being used by both Congress and CPM to euphorise the BJP victory. This is done with vested interests. Split in Hindu vote is beneficial to both CPM and Congress depending on the demography of the constituency. Fermenting of BJP over-confidence is also part of strategy of CPM/Congress.”

“The BJP has to guard against both fronts, re-work its strategy, study the setbacks and take correct steps. Both these fronts who hobnob with jehadis like NDF, PDP, SDPI, J-E-I are dangerous, to Kerala and India,” he said.
