KING of Bhutan Shri Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck visited Pravasi Bhavan, the headquarters of Antar Rashtriya Sahayog Parishad in New Delhi on October 28. During the interaction with the Parishad activists he stressed the need on more cultural exchange between both the countries. He said today India is emerging as an important economic power and Indian prosperity would benefit Bhutan also. He expressed concern over the growing terrorist activities in the region and appealed to the world to fight against it unitedly.
Media incharge of the Parishad Shri Manohar Puri spoke about the activities of the Antar Rashtriya Sahayog Parishad. Apart from the senior officials of Bhutan some selected leaders of the Parishad were also present on the occasion. In the beginning president of the Parishad Shri Shashank welcomed the King at the office. General secretary of the Parishad Shri Baleshwar Agrawal presented a shawl to the King. Secretary of the Parishad Shri Ashok Tondon presented a bouquet.
