The fast we remove such misconceptions the fast the unity and social harmony will strengthen. The face of Bharat emerges after this change will be so strong, which will not be divided on the basis of caste or the religion,? said noted Yoga Guru Swami Ramdev. He was speaking at the birth anniversary function of Sant Valmiki in New Delhi on October 12. The function was organised by Shri Sanatan Dharma Pratinidhi Sabha, Delhi, in association with Sewa Bharati, Indraprastha Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Rashtriya Sikh Sangat, Samartha Shiksha Samiti, Dhramyatra Mahasangh and Bharat Vikas Parishad.
Shankaracharya Shri Madhvashram, Swami Hansdas, former Akhil Bharatiya Sewa Pramukh of RSS Shri Premchand Goel, Kshetra Pracharak Shri Dinesh Chandra, Delhi Prant Sanghachalak Shri Ramesh Prakash and former Governor of Sikkim and Goa Shri Kidarnath Sahni were also present on the occasion.
Prominent Valmiki Sant Baba Prakash Shah stressed the need not to utter any word against a great personality, which hurts the feeling of any community. Swami Raghwananda, president of Shri Sanatan Dhrama Pratinidhi Sabha, pointed out that the Pratinidhi Sabha has been stressing the need to celebrate Valmiki Jayanti by the whole society as the birth anniversaries of other great personalities are celebrated together.
