A comprehensive website is being developed on the life and work of Veer Savarkar. The website?www.savarkar.org?had its domain name registered on May 28, 2007, the birth anniversary of Veer Savarkar. The public release of the first phase is slated for February 26, 2008, his atmarpan divas. The website will be bilingual?in Marathi and English. In its first phase, it will cover 800 printed pages per language on four topics viz. armed freedom struggle, social reform, rationalism/pro-science outlook and Hindutva/Hindu Rashtra. The website will also have a life history of Veer Savarkar. A highlight will be Savarkar'sfirst ever biography written in 1923. The website will have hundreds of rare photographs, audio clippings of his speeches as well as answers to FAQs on Veer Savarkar. The website is being developed on a non-commercial basis by patriotic youngsters with expertise in this field. Suggestions/ financial and technical assistance are welcome.
