A chintan varga of Akhil Bharatiya Sadhvi Shakti Parishad was held at Nishkam Sewa Trust, Haridwar from August 22 to 26 to discuss the agitation on Ram Sethu. Sadhvis resolved to create a mass agitation against the destruction of Ram Sethu. The Sadhvi Parishad has decided to visit remote villages and to hold recitation of Sunder Kand in every home. Sadhvis would also visit schools and colleges. Shri Ramphal stressed on social harmony. Shri Hukumchand Sanwla spoke about cow protection and Sushiri Meenatai Bhatt appealed to the sadhvis to aware the society about the female foeticide. Shri B.L. Sharma ?Prem? spoke about the mishandling of religious places. Dr Pravin Togadia spoke about the protection of Ram Sethu. Shri Omkar Bhave emphasised the need to develop an interceptive force. Sadhvi Varunayati appealed for protection of the ancient places. Sadhvi Kamlesh Bharati called for strengthening the Sadhvi Parishad work. (FOC)
