I refer to the excellent article by J.G. Arora in Organiser dated June 3, 2007. This article succinctly brings out the present pathetic situation faced by Hindu society and suggested a practical feasible suggestion to overcome this. Shri Arora has brought out vividly the all-round dangers confronting the Hindu society from all quarters. I shall not summarise the problems lest the article will be unduly long. The terrorists have shot their way right from Kashmir to Karnataka and very recently they blasted their own 300-year-old Mecca Masjid in Hyderabad. I must thank the ?secular? brigade for not blaming the RSS or the BJP for this gruesome incident which cost so many precious lives. Now, only Tamil Nadu is left out from the purview of the terrorists. One-third of Kerala is controlled by Islamists, another one-third by the Marxists, and the remaining one-third by the poor Hindus who do not have any say in the governance of that state.
In the midst of the turbulence faced by Hindu society, one is optimistic that Sanatana Dharma, as its name implies, will last forever and will overcome all the difficulties and inimical forces, provided the Hindus are united irrespective of caste or creed under one umbrella. For this purpose, an organisation exclusively of the Hindus, by the Hindus and for the Hindus should be formed.
Besides, thanks to the present-day secularist education and subtle biblical education in schools, most of our children do not have any knowledge of our hoary itihaas, i.e., the Ramayana and the Mahabharata including the Bhagavadgita, the Puranas, leave aside the four Vedas and Upanishads which are the fountainhead of all wisdom, both spiritual and temporal. The Christians and Muslims imbibe knowledge and study assiduously their Bible and Koran in schools and madrasas.
Unfortunately we have an HRD Minister who wants our children to know about sex by introducing sexual education in the syllabus. This is the tragedy of our country of one thousand million Hindus. Of course Hindus can survive as a nation only if Hinduism being individualistic and not congregational like Christianity and Islam, daily practices the karmanushthana and not merely by reading the scriptures within the four walls. Because, Hindutva is a way of life as the Hon?ble Supreme Court had decreed in a landmark judgment.
Moreover, the special feature of the Hindu religion is that there is no sanction in the Shastras for proselytisation, but other religions believe in conversions. All this result in depletion of our numbers and increase in the population of Muslims and Christians. Hindus overlook the worst ever attack threatening Hinduism now.
Though, Bhagavan Sri Krishna has categorically declared in the Gita, ?Yada yada hi dharmasya glanir bhavati bharata abyuthanam adharmasya tadahatmanam shrijaamyaham? (whenever there is a decline of Dharma, I take an incarnation to destroy evil forces and reestablish Dharma). In another context he has declared that he will protect the men of righteous conduct and destroy the evil doers. These two assurances do not and should not induce complacency in Hindus that someday the Lord will incarnate Himself to protect them. God protects those who try to protect themselves and in Kaliyuga this is of utmost importance.
Therefore, Aroraji pleads vigorously for an all India pro-Hindu daily newspaper and/or television channel projecting Hindu concerns as the existing countrywide newspapers and TV channels promote only anti-Hinduism and fake secularism. Would it not be better if the BJP and the RSS consider this aspect seriously so as to facilitate spreading of Hindutva and other essentials of Sanatana Dharma and apprise the Hindus of dangers faced by the Hindu society/culture, etc and educate them to become true Hindus and rise as one man for the Hindu rashtra? Unless this is achieved by creating a powerful strong Hindu movement, there is a real danger that Hinduism will perish, Hindus will perish and the Hindu nation destroyed; in its place, an Islamic country will be created and partly Christendom.
