Addressing swayamsevaks and massive turnout of well-wishers for Vijayadashami day celebrations in the capital city Trivandrum, Bharatiya Vichar Kendram Director, Padamshri P. Parameswaran called upon the people of Kerala to be wary of the Pak-China link in the proposed construction of Harbour near Vizhinjam in Thiruvanan-thapuram. He said despite IB and RAW blacklisting the three Chinese companies, which have given quotations for construction, on grounds of grave security risk, Sitaram Yechuri and Prakash Karat are pressurising Manmohan Singh to award the contract to them. He said the companies are in collaboration with Pakistan-based companies and hence a grave security threat especially in the context of terrorist-ISI network in Kerala'scoastline. Parameswaranji continued that China is supporting the Maoists, whose threat is there almost in the entire north-east and states up to Andhra Pradesh in the South. ?Yechuri and company have installed a Maoist regime in Nepal and their next target is to make Bharat Maoist. Islamic terrorism and Maoist Naxalism are the greatest threats facing Bharat.?

Parameswaranji cautioned that Kerala is fast becoming an Islam-dominant state. He quoted Cardinal Mar Varkey Vidayathil as saying that in next 25 years, Islam will be the majority religion in Kerala and hence in its Sunday message the church has asked believers not to follow family planning, but to beget more children. He cautioned that Islam is also becoming the dominant religion in Europe.

Parameswaranji said Dr Hedgewar founded RSS on Vijayadashami day since the Navaratri period is the time for combined worship of Durga, Laxmi and Saraswati representing strength, wealth and knowledge. ?Each of these is required for development of individual, samaj and nation and hence they are mutually complementary.? Parameswaranji ended his speech by calling upon the Hindus of Kerala to acquire the powers of the three devis for total development of the Hindu society.

Earlier two massive pathsanchalans merged at over-bridge junction and marched to Putharikandam Maidan, the venue of the meet.
