Sardar Gurucharan Singh Gill, national president of Rashtriya Sikh Sangat has called upon the Sangat'scadre to spread the message of Guru Arjundev and also the history of his sacrifice. He was speaking at a meeting of Punjab unit of the Sikh Sangat held in Amritsar recently. He said the 400th martyr year of Guru Arjundev would provide a divine message. He said Guru Arjundev sacrificed his life for the protection of Hinduism and also the Guru Granth Saheb. Sardar Chiranjiv Singh, patron of the Sikh Sangat also spoke on the occasion. Shri Avinash Jaiswal, organising secretary of the Sikh Sangat stressed the need to make the organisation more strong and effective.
