The 11th national convention of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyut Mazdoor Mahasangh, affiliated to Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS), has demanded from the government to stop political interference in electricity boards of different states. The convention, held in Bhavnagar (Gujarat) recently, also demanded reconstitution of the boards for betterment of electricity sector in the country. The Mahasangh urged the government to accommodate bureaucrats, scientists, economic experts, consumers, farmers and labourers in the boards. Apart from prominent leaders of the Mahasangh, Shri Hasubhai Dave, national president, Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh, was present in the convention.
