NEW DELHI: The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) expresses its deep condolences on the passing of A. Balakrishnan, President of the Vivekananda Kendra (Kanyakumari). Shri Balakrishnan was the embodiment of Karma Yoga; he dedicated his entire life to propagating Swami Vivekananda’s message of universal brotherhood and service to humanity, as well as to serving the nation and society.
Shri Balakrishnan’s simple lifestyle, selfless service, spirit of sacrifice, and unwavering devotion to Hindutva will forever remain a source of inspiration for social activists.
Shri Balakrishnan was a first-generation activist belonging to the cadre of lifelong dedicated volunteers (Jivan-Vrati) at the Vivekananda Kendra in Kanyakumari, committed to advancing the mission of Swami Vivekananda. With his passing, our country society has lost a noble soul.
We offer our humble tributes to the departed Shri Balakrishnan and pray to the Almighty to grant this virtuous soul the ultimate abode and salvation (Moksha).
