The Kasaragod General Hospital Blood Bank also received a state-level award this year for collecting the highest quantity of blood in Keralam, with more than 6,000 units collected. The contribution of voluntary organisations, including Seva Bharati, played an important role in achieving this milestone.

Through sustained efforts to mobilise voluntary blood donors, the Jeevamrutham initiative has reaffirmed Seva Bharati’s commitment to serving society and saving lives. The initiative’s contribution highlights the importance of organised voluntary efforts in strengthening healthcare services and ensuring the availability of blood for patients in need.
