Details Mentioned on UPTET Scorecard 2026

The UPTET 2026 scorecard will contain important details related to the candidate’s examination and performance. After downloading the result, candidates should check all the information mentioned on the scorecard like name, roll number, registration/application number, UPTET paper, examination details, marks obtained, qualifying status, etc.,

If they find any discrepancy in the scorecard, they should follow the instructions regarding correction or grievance redressal given by the Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC).

UPTET 2026 Qualifying Marks

The UPTET qualifying marks are determined according to the category-wise eligibility criteria prescribed by the examination authority. Generally, candidates belonging to the General category need to secure at least 60 per cent marks, while candidates belonging to reserved categories are eligible with the applicable relaxation, generally 55 per cent marks. Candidates should refer to the official UPTET notification/result guidelines for the category-wise qualifying criteria applicable to UPTET 2026.

UPTET Result 2026: What after qualifying the exam?

After the declaration of the UPTET 2026 result, candidates who have qualified the examination should keep their scorecard and eligibility-related documents safely for future reference. UPTET qualification is an important eligibility requirement for all teachers who wish to teach in Uttar Pradesh. However, qualifying UPTET does not by itself guarantee a government teaching job. Candidates should also meet the required educational and professional qualifications and complete the selection process mentioned in the teacher recruitment notification.

Validity of UPTET Certificate

Candidates who qualify the UPTET 2026 examination should keep their UPTET scorecard and eligibility certificate safely for future teacher recruitment opportunities. The UPTET certificate has lifetime validity under the applicable guidelines, which means candidates do not generally need to appear for the UPTET exam again simply because the validity of their TET certificate has expired.
