PERIYA: Examinations at the Central University of Kerala were disrupted as part of a nationwide protest led by the Students’ Federation of India (SFI). During the agitation, SFI activists allegedly entered various departments and interrupted examinations that were in progress.

ABVP alleged that, following the protest, the University Registrar issued an official holiday notification via email to students and department heads on the instructions of the Vice Chancellor, in response to SFI’s demands. The organization claimed that the move was against university regulations and accused the Vice Chancellor of yielding to pressure from SFI.

In protest against the incident, ABVP activists burned an effigy of the Vice Chancellor. The protest was inaugurated by Abhinav Thuneri, National Executive Committee Member of ABVP.

ABVP also demanded that the Vice Chancellor provide an explanation to the students regarding the matter. The protest was led by ABVP Unit President Jayaraj Butt and State Committee Member R. Adarsh.
