Balochistan Declares Independence from Pakistan: Unveils flag & anthem; Claims control of 85% province & minerals

Balochistan has officially declared its independence from Pakistan and has reiterated that it controls more than 85 per cent of the territory and vast mineral resources of the province. It has also unveiled a new flag, anthem, currency and administrative ecosystem, thus posing a significant challenge to the atrocities of Pakistan, which is hitherto internally fragile and domestically disintegrated

The province of Balochistan, which was posing an existential threat to Pakistan and its atrocities, has now officially declared its independence from the iron fist of Islamabad. The Baloch Army has declared that it controls more than 85 per cent of the province’s territory and also the vast mineral resources of the region, including gold, copper, coal reserves and gas fields. Meanwhile, the statement from Balochistan also exclaimed about establishing its own flag, national anthem, currency and the institutions of administration.

The strong statement from Balochistan, circulating all across the social media platform, declares the rise of the “Republic of Balochistan”. This viral & sharp jibe at Pakistan by Balochistan has further embarrassed Islamabad on the global stage, which is hitherto entangled in political instability and is domestically disintegrated. Balochs claim that they are currently controlling more than 85 per cent of the province and also own the majority of the mineral resources, exposing the fragility of Islamabad. This also poses a significant challenge to the atrocities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi in Balochistan.

The declaration of a new flag, currency, anthem and indigenous administrative ecosystem is an outright rejection of Pakistan’s rule in the province. These developments make Balochistan deserving of international recognition. “We now control the republic’s gold and copper mines, more than 150 active gas fields and over 1,200 operational coal mines across the Republic of Balochistan”, the statement read, proclaiming itself as the Republic of Balochistan.

The statement from Balochistan further added that they have a strong soldier or Army network of 5,00,000 personnel who are ready to completely overthrow the occupying state of Islamabad by the end of 2026. “Today, we are administering the State of Balochistan through our own security and defense forces. We may not possess fighter jets, attack helicopters, tanks, missiles or heavy artillery, but we control our land. A force of 500,000 personnel comprising the Balochistan military, navy, air force and civil administration stands ready to overthrow the occupying forces of Pakistan by the end of 2026”, the statement asserted.

Meanwhile, the Balochistan administration also appealed to the international community to recognise the Republic of Balochistan, as an independent country. According to the statement, this independent Balochistan will not permit Pakistan’s military, navy or air force to use its territory, coastline or airspace. It further argued that international recognition would help bring greater stability to the region & will help end decades of Pakistan’s extremist activities, nuclear blackmail and administrative negligence of the region.

Thus, the Baloch factor is evolving as a considerable challenge to Pakistan and its brutal, inhuman security forces. Despite escalating enforced disappearances, kidnap, forced conversion, murder, brutal crackdown & arrest of peaceful protestors and other inhuman atrocities on the Baloch people, the Pakistan Army is not able to completely annihilate or crush the Baloch people and their indigenous identity. The unrest against Islamabad is revolutionising at a rapid scale, obliterating the Pakistani horror in Balochistan.

In the previous week, the Baloch Army killed nearly 42 Pakistani security personnel, thus clearly rejecting Islamabad’s presence in Balochistan. In May  2026, More than 30 people were killed as a suicide bomber rammed an explosive-laden car on a train in Quetta, which was carrying Pakistani security personnel and their families. In January, the Baloch Liberation Army launched Operation Hereof and simultaneously attacked ten cities, including Quetta and killed more than 200 security personnel.

A month later, BLA claimed to have captured 17 Pakistani soldiers and executed seven of them. The biggest blow to Islamabad and Pakistan Army was, when BLA hijacked the Jaffar Express going from Quetta to Peshawar. It reportedly killed 214 people, including military personnel. Analysts thus, admit the fact that Pakistan is significantly losing its control over the Baloch territory.
