Ayodhya witnessed a ceremonial Dhwajarohan at the top of the newly constructed Maa Bhagwati Mandir located within the northwestern section of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir Complex. The event drew a large gathering of women devotees, saints, and social representatives.
The ceremony was marked by devotional rituals and speeches focused on cultural values, women’s role in society, and religious symbolism. Renowned Hindu spiritual leader Sadhvi Ritambhara addressed the gathering and spoke about the importance of preserving Indian traditions and strengthening cultural identity.
In her speech, Sadhvi Ritambara emphasised the need to educate the younger generation about cultural values and womanhood. She said that families should instil respect for traditional symbols such as vermilion and encourage awareness of cultural identity.
She also referred to contemporary social concerns, including what she termed challenges related to “love jihad” and cow protection, urging women to remain aware and socially responsible. Her remarks also highlighted discipline, self-respect, and the role of women in preserving cultural continuity.
During the address, she remarked that the present generation must understand “the true meaning of being an Indian woman” and described women as key custodians of tradition and society.
Sadhvi Ritambara also recited verses reflecting on the long-standing Ram Mandir movement, describing it as a centuries-long struggle marked by sacrifice and devotion. She referred to the eventual construction of the temple as a historic and emotional moment for devotees.
According to event organisers, senior functionary Champat Rai provided an overview of the newly constructed Mandir structure and its significance to attendees. The gathering reportedly included around 3,500–4,000 women from various social and professional backgrounds, along with saints and members of different spiritual and social organisations.
Prominent attendees included representatives such as Meenakshi Tai (Rashtra Sevika Samiti), Mahamandaleshwar Sadhvi Maitri Ji (Haridwar), Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti, and Sadhvi Pragya Bharti. The flag hoisting at the Maa Bhagwati Mandir was presented as part of ongoing developments within the Ram Janmabhoomi complex in Ayodhya, which continues to host religious and cultural ceremonies following the construction of the Ram Mandir infrastructure. The event combined ritual observance with socio-cultural messaging, reflecting themes of devotion, tradition, and community participation in the broader religious landscape of Ayodhya.
