NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially announced that the NEET-UG 2026 re-examination will be conducted on June 21, 2026, following the cancellation of the original exam held on May 3 due to alleged paper leak concerns. The decision was taken following a high-level review meeting held late evening on May 14 at the official residence of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, where preparations for conducting the examination afresh were discussed in detail.

The earlier NEET-UG 2026 exam was cancelled after reports of irregularities and suspected question paper leaks triggered investigations by multiple agencies, including the CBI. The move left students and parents across the country awaiting clarity on the revised schedule.
