Tiruvananthapuram: After addressing a mammoth BJP rally in Tiruvilla, Pathanamthitta district, PM Modiji flew to Tiruvananthapuram, where he led an impressive and colourful roadshow. Lakhs of people were waiting, in the scorching sun, for their leader’s arrival since around 2 pm. They remained on either side of the roads until dusk when the PM came from Tiruvilla.
The roadshow started from Kallivayal and culminated at Karamana. Four candidates, Rajeev Chandrasekhar, R. Sreelekha IPS (Retd), V. Muraleedharan, and Karamana Jayan, from Tiruvananthapuram, boarded the vehicle along with the Prime Minister. The PM and the candidates were holding the pictures of lotus while waving to the cheering crowd. People from the entire district and from the neighbouring Kollam district had lined up on either side of the city roads.

The enthusiasm of the people was a hint of what is in store for both the CPM-led ruling Left Democratic Front (LDF) and the Congress-led opposition United Democratic Front (UDF). The faces of the crowds showed that they are all set to vote BJP into power.
