All three fronts, NDA-LDF-UDF, have released their election manifestos. Both the CPM-led Left Democratic Front (LDF) and the Congress-led United Democratic Front (UDF) have, as usual, boasted several promises which they know are merely futile; they are hollow and impractical under the current circumstances.
But the NDA’s manifesto reportedly mirrors reality and is pro-people and pro-Keralam.

First of all, it envisages a Food Surplus and Farmers’ Welfare Keralam. The idea is to revive the agriculture sector and improve farmers’ income by:
Minimum Support Price (MSP) for all crops to encourage crop diversification in agriculture.
Digital procurement and Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) for paddy farmers.
State-wide cold storage network expansion.
Plantation lands to have options for multi-crop agriculture.

Every Block Panchayat, Panchayat, Municipality and Municipal Corporation will be allocated a dedicated Mobile Hospital Unit. It will consist of a qualified doctor, a trained nurse, essential medicines, basic diagnostic equipment and lab sample collection capability.
