On the auspicious day of Phalgun Shukla Panchami (February 22), swayamsevaks of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh will offer musical salutations to Prabhu Shri Ram Lalla at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple through traditional ghosh vadan (band). The program has been named Shri Ram-Archanam. After months of dedicated practice, a specially trained ghosh dal of 100 Ghosh Vadaks will present Sri Ram archana, a captivating performance and route march in Ayodhya.

According to official information, the performance will include instruments such as venu (flute), shringa (including swarad, turya, nagaang, gaumukh) and shankh (bugle). Different ragas and compositions suited to various occasions will be played. Some pieces will be performed in a stationary formation, while others will accompany the path sanchalan (route march). When more than one hundred uniformed swayamsevaks march in unison, step by step, along Ram Path in Ayodhya with synchronized rhythm and melody, it will present a truly extraordinary and inspiring sight.

As per details, the Ghosh Vadaks from Delhi Prant consists of 100 musicians. Twenty-five families of swayamsevaks will also be present for the program. A few karyakartas associated with organisational arrangements will accompany them. In keeping with Sangh tradition, each swayamsevak is bearing his own expenses. In recent days, senior karyakartas associated with the event visited Ayodhya and met the General Secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra, Shri Champat Rai, to obtain the necessary permissions and approvals.

According to the scheduled program, the swayamsevaks will arrive in Ayodhya Dham on the morning of February 21. On the sacred banks of the holy Saryu River, on Vikram Samvat 2082 Phalgun Shukla Panchami (February 22), the ghosh performance will commence at 3:15 PM. Thereafter, performing while marching, the swayamsevaks will proceed to Lata Mangeshkar Chowk. From 3:35 PM to 3:55 PM, a melodic tribute will be offered in memory of Swar Samragyi Lata Ji as well as the martyr karsevaks.

Following this, proceeding via Ram Path, the swayamsevaks will reach Hanumangarhi at 4:20 PM, where stuti through ghosh will continue until 4:35 PM. At 5:15 PM, the Ghosh Dal will arrive at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple, where from 5:15 PM to 6:15 PM they will perform pradakshina and stationary ghosh rendition. Thereafter, all will participate in the evening aarti and have darshan of Prabhu Shri Ram Lalla.
