PRAYAGRAJ: The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), Allahabad University unit, today submitted a memorandum to the University Proctor, emphasising the need to maintain peace, social harmony, and academic dignity within the campus. In the memorandum, ABVP asserted that the university is a temple of knowledge where harmony, discipline, and a healthy educational environment must remain paramount. Any activity that disrupts peace or vitiates the mutual brotherhood on campus is absolutely unacceptable.

ABVP has consistently advocated for a positive educational ecosystem across the country. The ABVP delegation drew the Proctor’s attention to recent activities threatening the campus’s tranquillity and demanded swift action to ensure students are provided with a safe, positive, and disciplined learning environment. The organisation maintains a firm stand that, as centres of education and personality development, universities must immediately halt and take strict action against any elements attempting to sour communal or social harmony.

Kavyanshi Kumari, Unit Secretary of ABVP Allahabad University, stated, “Allahabad University is globally renowned for its unique traditions, where students study in an atmosphere of mutual cooperation and brotherhood. Over the past few days, certain anarchist elements have been making malicious attempts to pollute the university environment, which we strongly condemn. This memorandum has been submitted to ensure that mutual harmony prevails and such negative activities do not take root in our campus.”

Prashansa Jatav, AU Unit SHoDH Convener, added, “In today’s memorandum, ABVP has explicitly demanded that all activities aimed at fragmenting the unity of the university be shut down immediately. We will vehemently oppose any attempt that strikes at the collective consciousness of this institution. ABVP has always worked toward a positive, healthy, and harmonious campus and remains committed to doing so in the future.”

The delegation included Unit President Himanshu Pandey, Unit Secretary Kavyanshi Kumari, Unit Research Convener Prashansa Singh Jatav, Unit Joint Secretary Anurag Mishra and other abvp members.
