Barabanki: On Tuesday, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the Babri Masjid will never be rebuilt and warned those who are dreaming of rebuilding it to follow the law of the land. Addressing a gathering in Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also took a jibe at the “opportunists” who are “dreaming” of building a mosque in Ayodhya.
“Those who are dreaming of the Babri structure, I would like to tell them that Judgement Day (Qayamat ka din) will never come. Don’t live for Judgement Day. Learn to live by the rules in India. Abide by the law of the land. Otherwise, if someone breaks the rules, the path will lead them straight to hell. If someone is dreaming of going to heaven by breaking laws, their dream will never materialise,” the UP CM said.

He said that the “double engine government” led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi is dedicated to protecting and respecting India’s rich culture and the traditions of Sanatan Dharma. Adityanath said the saffron (Kesariya) flag raised at the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya represents the country’s strength and pride.
The programme also discussed the political impact of his remarks, especially after statements made by suspended TMC MLA Humayun Kabir about a mosque in Murshidabad. The Chief Minister repeated that his government fulfils its promises and pointed to the completion of the Ram Temple as proof of its commitment to the people.
