NEW DELHI: The Lala Sitaram Goyal Memorial Seminar–75.0, jointly organised by Chetna and SR Charitable Trust, was held in a dignified and grand manner on January 18 at a hotel in Rohini. The seminar was dedicated to the historic 100-year journey of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).

This day-long seminar, centred on ideology and national reflection, witnessed in-depth deliberations by eminent sants, thinkers, social philosophers, scholars, and distinguished personalities from public life. The speakers examined various social, cultural, and nation-building dimensions of the Sangh’s centenary journey.

Prominent participants included revered Swami Chidanand Saraswati Ji, former North Zone Sanghchalak of RSS Dr Bajrang Lal Gupta, senior BJP strategist Sunil Vishwanath Deodhar, senior Pracharak Gopal Arya, Padma Shri Malini Awasthi, senior Supreme Court advocate Ashwini Upadhyay, Delhi Prant Karyavah CA Anil Gupta, senior surgeon Dr Kaushal Kant Mishra, national spokesperson of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad Vijay Shankar Tiwari, Rajesh Goyal from Ekal Abhiyan, retired IPS officer Jitendra Goyal, Professor Deepti Dharmani, and Jagdish Mittal from the Rashtriya Kavi Sangam.

The programme began with a welcome address by Sanjeev Goyal, President of SR Charitable Trust. The seminar was efficiently and effectively conducted by the renowned national poet and President of Chetna, Rajesh Chetan.

In his concluding address, Rajesh Chetan Ji expressed gratitude to all guests, speakers, and participants, stating, “This seminar is not merely a platform for ideological dialogue; it is a continuous endeavour to connect society with national consciousness, cultural self-awareness, and Sanatan values.”

Speakers emphasised that the Sangh’s hundred-year journey is not just a story of organisational expansion, but a powerful example of sustained efforts toward cultural renaissance, social harmony, awakening of national spirit, and service to society.

It was also highlighted that, in keeping with its core philosophy, the Sangh has continuously united all sections of society while providing direction and momentum to the nation-building process.

It is noteworthy that the fundamental objective of Chetna and SR Charitable Trust, inspired by the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, is to take the spiritual, cultural, and ethical values of the Bharatiya Sanatan tradition to all sections of society. Both organisations are actively engaged in presenting Bharat’s civilisational wisdom and folk traditions in a modern context, thereby strengthening the scientific, humane, and timeless nature of Dharma.

The institutions aim to awaken cultural self-awareness, social harmony, national spirit, and moral consciousness, and to work for the revival of Sanatan values through service, dialogue, and communication. Engaging with youth and presenting Sanatan Dharma as a practical, living ideal remains a key focus of their mission.

The seminar saw significant participation from intellectuals, representatives of social organisations, and youth. The programme concluded with the National Anthem.
