Hypocrisy of leftist media: Hyperbolic hatred vs constructive connection

Leftist media organisations in Bharat & the US are indulging in falsehood, prevarications as part of conspiracy theories to portray selfless organisations like RSS, which are playing a commendable role in building Bharat & engaging in Seva, as a mirror image of Islamist organisations. It’s time to expose these agenda-driven disruptive forces out to dismantle Hindutva & Bharat

There has been yet another round of concerted attacks on Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and Hindutva forces in recent days, after the flop show last year of ‘Dismantling Hindutva’ – in parenthesis – Dismantling Hindu Dharma as admitted by many of the active conspirators in the United States. This time the charge has been led by our homegrown network of The Caravan, published by an ancient ‘secular-progressive’ publishing house, Delhi Press Group, supposedly a fiercely independent media house, but funded by a well-known ‘secular’ funding agency as per information gathered by Perplexity.

The story on RSS and its ‘insidious network’ picked up information from open sources and created a beautifully presented report of about 2,500 organisations, as if it was unravelling a deep state network. Not surprisingly, some information was stale, some false. A friend called me up to tell me that his name was mentioned though he was not Chairman of an organisation deeply committed to health and social well being issues of the community ‘tainted’ by association with RSS. I had the great honour of being mentioned twice in the report, I am told. It was some consolation that after 12 years of writings with research about RSS, Left had finally recognised me fleetingly. I haven’t responded to this report. Why give limelight to a report written with foreign audience in mind and meant for the benefit of the international Leftist secular network. I know the ultimate target is to put a target on Hindu organisations doing sterling work in their respective countries, and show them as a mirror image of terrorist Islamist organisations. And I was not wrong. The report has been picked up recently by The New York Times (NYT) and their Left secular Mughal fans like Audrey Truschke.

The article in NYT has been devastatingly critiqued by a senior academic from Australia, Salvatore Babones where the NYT ‘hit job’ writer is a junior lecturer. This is the beauty of the Leftist eco-system. A comparatively junior rabble rouser can get entry where even senior academicians or journalists are not allowed inside the gates. This is the reason many Indians are keener to join the Left bandwagon. Rajiv Malhotra once shared how some research fellows took grants from his foundation to do research in Indology under his guidance but defected to Leftist groups as rewards were lucrative there.

Recently, I got a chance to witness the gathering of approximately 1,600 active workers of Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh (HSS) organisations from around 60 countries in Hyderabad. Vishwa Sangh Shibir takes place every five years under full media glare. I was told that the attendance was kept low with certain qualifications as there was no place where such a big camp could be organised. Some of the organisations were represented by third generation Bharatiyas, while in some countries the members were first generation migrants and NRIs. I have been working on the history of HSS in six countries so far. Four in the series were published in the global camp of HSS in Hyderabad, while two are under print.

The NYT article, the earlier The Caravan hit job on one side and the work of the members of HSS and the organisations sharing similar philosophy on the other side represented the two polarised sides of ideological battle to me at global level now.

Close Bond Between Leftists

Left secular groups outside Bharat are basically an extension of the Left secular groups active in Bharat. There is a strong sense of brotherhood within them, and a tight network that amplifies each other quickly. From 2-3 hours in case of ‘fair and lovely’ babies’ false propaganda or a few days in case of ‘Hindutva fascism’ conspiracy theories. White academicians like Wendy and Audrey and funding agencies of Soros and Omidyar network’s role are only to provide cushy jobs, and funds to disruptive forces out to dismantle not only Hindutva, but Bharat. They are interested in bystanders whose job is to provide oil to be poured over the fires being lit by Indians or people of Indian origin of dubious loyalties.

Yes, there is strong polarisation around the story of Bharat. The polarisation is between the forces led by Bharatiyas on one side whose basic ideology is to see the balkanisation of Bharat by any means, using various faultlines that a vast country like Bharat are bound to have. They may be in Bharat, or they may be the parasites of the host country.

Drawing Inspiration from Dharma

Majority of the people of Bharatiya origin settled abroad for generations or newly migrated take inspiration from Dharma propagated by Bharat – that of peaceful co-existence and service to mankind because they believe that world is one family, not a marketplace. They work not only for the Hindu society but also for their local society. They serve not only their own people but also the natives, irrespective of their faith or nationality. There are countless examples, some of which I mention in my new books on HSS and some under print.

The world needs to ponder over this civilisational war that has more layers than the West has perceived. We too need to discern the attack on Hindu Dharma in this light. It is not RSS or HSS or other organisations inspired by them that they are targeting. They are targeting hard working inclusive communities and serve them, and are loyal to humanity, to their country of adoption inspired by universal values of Hindu Dharma

Many years back, it was clear that the ultimate ideological battle in Bharat would be between the Left and Hindutva. The rise of Islamist threat is a new phenomenon fuelled by Bharat-based Barelvi and Deobandi schools of Islam. However, globally they are aligned with the Left, Neo Marxist groups. A strange marriage, as they are incompatible. In Communist countries there is no place for Islam and in Islamic countries, Communists are abhorred. They have come together to defeat the communities that have refused to die despite centuries of genocides and oppression. Jews and Hindus are, therefore, the prime targets. They might be gambling about their own future once they destroy these two.

Why is it that wherever there are Neo-Marxists, Communist, they are parasites on the countries that host them or where they live? Why is it that wherever there are Hindus from RSS school of thought or with strong roots in Hindu Dharma, they are an asset to that society? While they are constructive for themselves and loyal to the society that they adopt, Marxists and Maoists are not loyal to the country of their origin or to the host country? They fight for Palestinians, they fight for Khalistanis, for Muslims even if that society is against them, but conspire Hindus though they are suffering persecution and genocide Bangladesh and Pakistan, and against Jews whose right to exist is questioned even now by their friends?

The answer lies in the Left-Islamist ideologies that wish to dominate the global society and impose their fascist views on the people, at any cost. Their targeted enemies, Hindus and Jews work hard to build their societies, do constructive work for the society wherever they are, advance knowledge. Since the dawn of human society, Hindus have manufactured and traded with the world but never imposed its religions or ideas on the people with violence. They have not destroyed any civilization or belief system. Jews have produced more scientific knowledge than others put together, as have the number of science prizes received by them. On the contrary, today’s Islamists want the world, even where they were given asylum to go back to the 8th century, and the Left has killed 110 million people for the simple crime that they did not believe in their solutions. They have no loyalty to anyone except their intolerant ideologies.

The world needs to ponder over this civilisational war that has more layers than the West has perceived. We too need to discern the attack on Hindu Dharma in this light. It is not RSS or HSS or other organisations inspired by them that they are targeting. They are targeting hard working inclusive communities and serve them, and are loyal to humanity, to their country of adoption inspired by universal values of Hindu Dharma. While they are working to create anarchy and support violence to bring down civilisation. Two poles of philosophy, both originating from Bharat.
