NEW DELHI: Sangh evolves and manifests itself in newer forms, people feel that the Sangh is changing. However, the Sangh is not changing; it is gradually manifesting itself in different forms. This is the process of a seed becoming a tree, said Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Sarsanghchalak Dr Mohan Bhagwat at the release of two songs: ‘Bharat Maa Ke Bachche’ and ‘Bhagwa Hai Meri Pehchaan’ from the film ‘100 Years of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh – Shatak’ at a programme held at Keshav Kunj, Jhandewalan, Delhi. The songs have been rendered by singer Sukhwinder Singh.

Addressing the gathering, Dr Mohan Bhagwat said that the Sangh and Doctor Saheb are synonymous.
He further said that the psychology of Dr Keshav Baliram Hedgewar, the founder of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, is a subject of research and study. When Doctor Saheb’s parents passed away on the same day, within an interval of one hour, he was only 11 years old. At such a young age, a severe shock would typically lead to emotional detachment. However, this trauma did not adversely affect Doctor Saheb’s mind. He must have felt immense sorrow, which cannot even be imagined, but there was no negative effect on his nature or personality. Doctor Saheb was a born patriot. The ability to absorb even the greatest shocks without allowing the mind to waver reflected his inherently strong and healthy mind.

Dr Mohan Bhagwat further said, “Dr Hedgewar’s life embodied the RSS spirit – Bharat first, always. The movie ‘Shatak’ and its song ‘Bhagwa Hai Apni Pehchaan’ showcase his unwavering patriotism and strength. RSS isn’t changing; it’s evolving, staying true to its roots. This film unveils untold stories, highlighting Dr Hedgewar’s ability to unite people and handle life’s challenges with equanimity. My best wishes to the team for this impactful initiative.”

Adding further, Sukhwinder Singh said, “I’m overwhelmed to have Mohan Bhagwat ji launch my song ‘Bhagwa Hai Apni Pehchaan’. His presence is a blessing, and his vision inspires us. I loved the director’s vision – simplicity with impact. History should be cherished. This song isn’t just a professional opportunity; it’s national service. I’ve poured my heart into it, hoping it’ll resonate with all. This song portrays the true spirit of Hindustan.”

The film ‘100 Years of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh – Shatak’ is produced by Veer Kapoor and directed by Ashish Mal.

RSS Akhil Bharatiya Karyakarini member Suresh (Bhaiyyaji) Joshi, singer Sukhwinder Singh, and others were present on the occasion.
