ABVP Kashi conference adopts 4 Resolutions on Education, national consciousness, Sonbhadra’s Development & environment

The 65th ABVP Kashi State Conference concluded at Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University, Jaunpur, with wide participation from students across 12 districts, adoption of four key academic and social resolutions, and the announcement of a new state executive committee

ABVP Kashi conference concludes successfully in Jaunpur

JAUNPUR: The 65th State Conference of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad, Kashi concluded successfully at Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University, Jaunpur, in the temporary convention township Rani Abbakka Nagar. The conference witnessed wide-ranging dialogue on organisational and academic campus matters, after which four major resolutions were passed, followed by the announcement of the new State Executive Committee.

The conference began on December 28, 2025, the ceremonial eve of the convention, with the inauguration of the Lal Ji Singh Exhibition, after which the formal sessions commenced the next day. The inaugural session was held in the presence of Chief Guest Prant Pracharak of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, Kashi and Distinguished Guest renowned Indian wrestler Yogeshwar Dutt, along with the special presence of National Secretary of ABVP Abhay Pratap Singh. After the inaugural proceedings, the responsibility of State President, Kashi, was entrusted to Dr Mahendra Tripathi, and the responsibility of State Secretary, Kashi, was entrusted to Shivam Singh.

Delegates and student representatives from 12 districts of Kashi, including Allahabad University and Banaras Hindu University, participated in speech and parallel interactive academic deliberations. On the second day, the ABVP National Organising Secretary, Ashish Chauhan, delivered the keynote address, followed by a grand Shobha Yatra from Mohammad Hasan PG College to TD College. The procession concluded at the TD College ground, where the Open Convention concluded under the leadership of the ABVP National Secretary, Abhay Pratap Singh, and the State Secretary, Kashi Shivam Singh. On the final day, the speech session was delivered by the Zonal Seva Pramukh of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, East Uttar Pradesh Yuddhveer. Afterwards, the resolutions were formally adopted, and the new committee was announced.

The resolutions passed include concern over vacant seats and prolonged admission procedures in Central and State Universities, the completion of 150 years of Vande Mataram as the eternal call of national consciousness, the need to move towards a balanced lifestyle shift from Screen Time to Green Time, and a vision for empowerment and a prosperous future for Sonbhadra. ABVP, Kashi will work on these resolutions with priority in the upcoming academic session.

On the final day of the conference, the announcement of the new executive committee was made by the newly elected State President of ABVP, Kashi Dr. Mahendra Tripathi, in which the key responsibility of State Vice-President was entrusted to Santosh Singh ‘Ansh’ from Sultanpur, Ram Shankar Uraon from Banaras Hindu University, Aabha Tripathi of Prayag Mahanagar and Ravi Shekhar Singh of Ghazipur. Additionally, the responsibility of Joint Secretary was entrusted to Shiv Babu Chaudhary of Kaushambi, Nivedita Mishra of Prayag Mahanagar, Aman Singh of Bhadohi, and Trikant Singh Jatav of Varanasi Mahanagar.

Addressing both the newly elected and outgoing committee members, Zonal Organising Secretary of ABVP, East Uttar Pradesh, Ghanshyam Shahi extended his best wishes and said, “Because of ABVP’s distinctive and advanced working methodology, the organization has completed a glorious journey of 77 years. ABVP is a dynamic and evolving organization, where an activist contributes till student life. Working in accordance with ABVP’s unique culture shapes personality and instills the spirit of Nation First. ABVP is not merely a collective, but an idea, and society recognizes us by our conduct. We all must ensure our role in making Bharat a developed nation.”
