New Delhi: The Bihar government is taking concrete steps to ensure ease of doing business and started the process of creating a state industrial security force to provide security cover to entrepreneurs, investors and industrial establishments in the state, said state’s Industry Minister Dilip Jaiswal on December 21.
Speaking at the Bihar@2047 Vision Conclave- season 3 at Bengaluru, Jaiswal said “The Bihar government is undertaking decisive measures to ensure not only ease of doing business but also security of doing business. The process of creating a Bihar Industrial Security Force (BISF) on lines of Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) is also underway.”
“The objective of the BISF is to provide security to entrepreneurs, investors, and industrial establishments across the state, ensure institutional protection and further strengthen confidence and stability in the industrial environment,” he added.
Jaiswal said that the state’s Industry Department is working actively towards building a robust, investor friendly ecosystem through policy reforms, institutional support and administrative sensitivity. He added that the government is committed to provide one crore employment opportunities in Bihar by encouraging industrial development and investment.
The conclave was organised as part of the ‘Let’s Inspire Campaign,’ an initiative launched by senior IPS officer Vikas Vaibhav. The campaign is aimed at making Bihar a developed state and stopping people to migrate for education, employment and healthcare purposes.
The day-long conclave was attended by around 1200 participants including around 900 entrepreneurs, IT professionals, start-up representatives and investors from Bharat and other countries.
Notably, a meeting of the state’s Industry Department regarding empowering micro, small and medium enterprises was also chaired by Jaiswal on December 22.
“Discussion were held on expanding an investment-friendly environment and the effective implementation of upcoming industrial projects in state. The government is continuously committed to the all-round development of industries in Bihar, job creation and giving new momentum to entrepreneurship,” informed the Minister in a post on X on Monday.
