Kargil Vijay Diwas, commemorates India’s hard-fought victory against Pakistan in the rugged mountainous terrain of Kargil & Battalik sectors of Ladakh, in 1999. This year, the Army’s outreach brings the remembrance from national memorials to the very doorsteps of sacrifices, rekindling a direct and powerful bond between the people and their heroes.

It’s a message to every family of the fallen hero: India stands with you, Always.
