“Pracharaks and karyakartas from all 46 prants (according to Sangh’s structure) came to this baithak and shared detailed reports on how the Sangh’s work is expanding, and how various departments are strengthening their outreach”, said Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Akhil Bharatiya Prachar Pramukh, Sunil Ambekar, while addressing the media on July 7 at the RSS Karyalaya, Keshav Kunj, Jhandewalan, Delhi.
“Discussions were held on how to engage society more effectively and encourage broader public participation in constructive work. Insights were shared on the welfare initiatives in border regions, national security concerns, and community outreach models”, he said.
“During the baithak, it was also informed that sustained dialogue is being carried out with both Meitei and Kuki communities, aiming for reconciliation and peace. While the situation remains sensitive, consistent efforts by social and spiritual organisations are underway, and signs of calm are emerging. However, it was complete normalcy will take some more time”.
“This year, the Sangh successfully conducted 100 shikshan vargs (training camps), with 75 of them for youth below the age of 40. 17,609 swayamsevaks articipated in these vargs at 7,812 loacations. The other 25 were attended by swayamsevaks in the 40–60 age group, with 4,270 participating. These vargs are attended once in a lifetime, play a pivotal role in preparing dedicated karyakartas for sangh’s work”, he said.
During the baithak, the roadmap for the RSS Centenary Year was discussed in depth. Hindu Sammelans will be held in every mandal and basti, covering 58,964 mandals and 44,055 bastis. 11,360 places, including every khand and nagar, will host Samajik Sadbhav Baithaks with participation from all communities to discuss positive societal work. A Ghar-Ghar Sampark Abhiyan will be launched, aiming to reach every house and every village. In all 924 Jilas, meetings will be organised with prominent citizens, professionals, and organisations, focusing on themes like Bharat, Hindu, and national unity.
These Hindu Sammelans will not only aim at broader unity but also focus on Hindu ekta through dialogue. In these gatherings, special discussions will be held on the internal misconceptions or misunderstandings within the Hindu society in specific areas, and how to overcome them with mutual respect, awareness, and organisation, he informed.
“The nation is progressing economically across all sectors, especially in the realm of technology and various facets of life, there is a concerted effort toward advancement. This progress is happening both at the Government level and among individuals. People, using their own strength and talent, are putting in efforts in every possible way to see the country advance. But while the country is moving forward, it is not enough to progress solely in terms of economy or technology. Alongside this, it is equally important to uphold the unique characteristics of our society and nation such as individual welfare, living together harmoniously, and being mindful of the environment. These core values must accompany our progress and are a significant aspect of our vision. That is why the idea of Individual Welfare has also been emphasised, ensuring that each person’s needs are fulfilled as quickly as possible. This is as important as economic development”, he said.
Adding further he said, “Secondly, the protection of core family values within every household is essential. Only then can the fabric of our social life remain strong and well-knit. Thirdly, the preservation of social harmony, that is, a spirit of mutual goodwill and brotherhood must be sustained continuously. If these values guide our lives and if society thinks about them and actively participates in them, giving them equal importance, then our economic progress will not be one-sided. Rather, it will be inclusive and holistic”.
The main goal for the centenary year is inclusive outreach across professions, geographies, and communities to foster holistic social integration.
When asked if there was as discussion on Operation Sindoor in the 3-day meeting, Sunil Ambekar stated that incidents across the country have been reviewed and deliberated upon.
He said that RSS considers all Bharatiya languages as national language and respects the linguistic diversity of Bharat. On Conversion issue, he said, “the Sangh reiterated its long-standing position that every individual has the right to follow their tradition, but forced or induced conversion using allurement is unacceptable”.
On Congress’s statement that it will ban RSS, if comes to power he said, he reminded that Congress had earlier also imposed a ban, which had to be withdrawn after court intervention as it was unlawful.
He further said that the decline in Naxalism is visible due to people’s resistance and effective governmental response. The violence must end, and constructive pathways must be adopted.
He further said that, the idea of Bharat Mata is not a Sangh creation, but a part of our civilisational tradition. Freedom fighters visualised the motherland as a divine mother, an image to be respected, revered, and protected. Everyone must be envisioned Bharat Mata with dignity and devotion. These values will be actively carried to the masses during the upcoming Ghar Sampark Abhiyan.
He further informed that, this year’s Vijayadashami Utsav will be held nationwide, with the participation of swayamsevaks from all sections including professionals and people from varied fields. Like the past, the Sangh will continue to include people from different walks of life in its events. The centenary year will see an even more inclusive and collaborative approach”, he said.
The Akhil Bharatiya Prant Pracharak Baithak which commenced on July 4 ended on July 6. In this Baithak, planning for the centenary year celebrations was the key focus, along with other issues. Review, guidance, and future planning ahead of the Sangh’s centenary year were also discussed, he informed.
The Akhil Bharatiya Prant Pracharak Baithak primarily focused on the work being undertaken by Sangh swayamsevaks across all prants, vibhags, and jilas. Pracharaks and karyakartas presented detailed reports on how the Sangh’s work is expanding and how various departments are strengthening their outreach. A total of 233 karyakartas from all over the country participated in this Baithak.
The discussions in the meeting included field experiences, challenges faced, and the solutions adopted in different prants. Special emphasis was placed on reviewing how effectively the Sangh’s work is operating at the grassroots level.
The Baithak was also attended by sangathan mantris of 32 RSS-inspired organisations. Discussions were held regarding their respective karyalayas and coordination strategies, he informed.
Mass Contact and Samajik Sadbhav Initiatives
As part of the year-long centenary year celebrations, a Grah Sampark Abhiyan will be launched in November 2025. For 21 days, swayamsevaks from every shakha will go door-to-door with literature and information about the Sangh’s work, engaging with society directly, Sunil Ambekar informed on July 3.
In addition, Samajik Sadbhav Baithaks will be conducted across the nation to foster harmony among different communities. These will be organised at both khand and nagar levels with the objective of eliminating mutual misconceptions and building a unified national spirit.
Outreach and Youth Engagement
Following Vijayadashami, a series of Pramukh Nagrik Ghosthis (Meetings with Prominent Citizens) will be organised in every district. These events will host intellectuals, professionals, and thought leaders to discuss Bharat’s journey forward and society’s role in it.
Special outreach programmes targeting the youth will also be held at the district level to enhance their engagement with the Sangh’s work and values. Each prant has already begun planning youth-centric initiatives, which will be finalised in the Baithak.
The agenda for this meet mainly included reports and reviews of the recently concluded RSS training camps, execution details about the upcoming year-long RSS centenary year programmes, tour plans of Sarsanghchalak Ji for the year 2025–26, and other events. The RSS centenary year (2025–26) programmes will begin from Vijayadashami, which falls on October 2, 2025, and will continue till next year’s Vijayadashami, 2026.
This Baithak was also attended by Sarsanghchalak Dr. Mohan Bhagwat, Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale, all Sah-Sarkaryavahs including Dr. Krishnagopal, CR Mukund, Arun Kumar, Shri Ramdutt, Atul Limaye, and Alok Kumar, all national-level Karya Vibhag Pramukhs, and other executive council members.
