Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in a stirring address to the air warriors and soldiers at the Adampur Air Force Station, on May 13, saluted the armed forces for the resounding success of Operation Sindoor, declaring it a historic moment that would inspire generations to come.
“This is the voice of every citizen who wants to do something for the nation,” he said. “When Indian soldiers chant ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai,’ the enemies are rattled. And when our missiles penetrate enemy territories, they destroy with precision.”
Recalling the recent triumph, the Prime Minister praised the armed forces’ swift and decisive action: “Our Air Force penetrated deep into Pakistan and, in just 20-25 minutes, destroyed their terror infrastructure with unmatched precision. This was possible only due to cutting-edge technology and top-notch professional training.”
Referring to the mission’s moral clarity and decisive execution, Modi said, “Operation Sindoor is about Neeti, Niyat and Nirnayak. When the sindoor of our daughters was snatched, our forces crossed the border and annihilated the terror camps sheltered by the Pakistan Army.”
“You didn’t just destroy terror camps. You crushed their arrogance, their dark intentions, their very courage to plan evil again. The entire nation bows to you. This is New India—ghar mein ghuskar maarega—we will enter your house and strike. And we won’t even leave a single chance to escape.”
“Operation Sindoor was not just a reply to the enemy. It was a protection of our daughters’ dignity, our sovereignty, our culture. When our daughters’ sindoor was snatched, we entered their territory and crushed the perpetrators right in their dens.”
“You didn’t just destroy terror camps. You crushed their arrogance, their dark intentions, their very courage to plan evil again. The entire nation bows to you. This is New India—ghar mein ghuskar maarega—we will enter your house and strike. And we won’t even leave a single chance to escape.”
He underlined the failure of Pakistan’s military to defend its assets: “The terrorists were relying on the Pakistan Army—but they were abandoned, crushed. Operation Sindoor made the Pakistan Army bite the dust.”
PM Modi also lauded the ethical restraint shown during the operation: “Pakistan used civilian aircraft as shields, but I am proud that our forces did not harm them. That is the level of professionalism and precision you have displayed.”
Declaring that Operation Sindoor has boosted India’s national confidence, the PM issued a firm warning: “Any terror attack will now be met with a befitting reply. India will retaliate on its terms. We will not tolerate nuclear blackmail. We will not differentiate between terrorists and those who protect them.”
He commended the exemplary coordination among all wings of the armed forces: “The Navy dominated the seas, the Army held the borders, the Air Force defended our skies, and the BSF worked valiantly. Aakash (Made in India) and S-400 systems gave a technological edge to our response.”
Calling the mission a turning point in modern warfare, he stated, “Operation Sindoor is a powerful demonstration of how technology and tactics go hand in hand. Despite Pakistan’s desperate attempts to destroy our bases, they failed miserably.”
Concluding his address, the Prime Minister said, “Your motivation and passion are unmatched. We want peace, but if provoked, we know how to teach a lesson. Operation Sindoor is the new normal.”
