Are Hindus as a Nation prepared for war?

In the face of repeated terrorist attacks, targeted killings, and a relentless ideological onslaught against their identity, a pressing question looms large—are Hindus, as a nation, truly prepared for war?

The above viral tragic picture shows Himanshi Narwal, a school teacher sitting beside her husband Binoy Narwal’s dead body who has been recently killed by Islamic terrorist in Pahalgam. The couple went there for honeymoon just after six days of their marriage. The picture shows that Himanshi is still wearing her wedding bangle.

Each and every Hindu youth should have to think that this tragic, ghoulish and horrible incident could have happened or may be happened to them too.

And every Hindu parent should have to think that their children too could have faced or may face such tragic consequences.

But it’s a matter of great regret that the exposures of such agony, anger, rage and aggressiveness of Hindu masses all over Bharat are very minimal. One may argue that agitations are being shown everywhere throughout the country. But in comparison with those Gulliver like recent rallys on the occassion of Shri Ram Navami, these agitations are just like Lilliput . All the Hindu organizations after a lot of  effort just have managed to gather those few people.

From practical experience, I could say that, I have attained a Ram Navami rally of near about one lac people where near about sixty thousand people have taken Prasad and other could not because of long queues. In the same town hardly two hundreds Hindus have participated in such agitation. Perhaps the scenario all over  Bharat is more or less same. There may be exceptions. Even in Delhi after Nirbhaya incident and in various towns in West Bengal after RG KAR Hospital incident, we have noticed huge mass agitations just on the basis of social media campaigns . There were no concerted efforts behind these agitations on behalf of any particular organisation. Although  political party like AAP and communists , urban maoists initiate the campaign shruedly by concealing their political identity but people’s participation  were entirely natural and spontaneous. And noticing such mammoth mass gathering they have tried to capitalise it just like ” fishing in murky or muddy water”.

Mass congregation in the sacred Kumbh or participation in big bigger biggest processions on the occassion of worshipping our beloved god and goddesses are timeless beauty and tradition of Hindu nation and no doubt we are proud of it. Even during  uncivilized and barbaric Islamic rule this tradition continued more or less. But that does not depict that we the Hindus as a Nation are as per Sister Nivedita’s expectation ” Aggressive and a little bit of Fanatic.”

Since 1948, despite of being a small and feeble country in terms of area, population, financial and military strength as compared to Bharat, Pakistan  has proactively attacked us for thrice. Apart from this,  continuous promotion of cross border terrorism and a series of major terrorist attack like Akshardham,  Parliament, Kargil  intrusion etc are some of their repeated adventurism which clearly show their Daredevil and don’t care attitude towards Bharat .This adventurism of Pakistan comes from  their superiority complex and the hard reality that Islamic power have ruled over Hindus for more than 1000 years more or less. On the contrary,  despite of being the true successor of Chandragupta Maurya, Vikramaditya,  Rajendra chola,  Shri Krishna Dev Roy, Shivaji,  Peshva Bajirao,  Ranjeet Singh, Lachit Barphukon we have not been able to bite the dust to Pakistan like a child’s play  so that the ghost of this adventurism get down from their head for ever.

And the obvious reason for this is such passive and cowardly attitude of Hindus as a nation. If any nation shows such a negative and passive attitude,  no government would like to involve in war. The State or the Government is a system for the fulfillment of all the materialistic needs and demand of a Nation. Hindus as a nation being 85% of total population of this country have no  pressure on the government in power that  it should take stringent action against Pakistan and for that we are ready to accept any kind of sacrifice. If necessary we would sacrifice all  our comforts,  amusement and  at the extreme can lay our life. We would earn lower profits and admit lower salaries. We would gladly work for extra four- five  hours to maintain emergency services but want to see the end of this Jihadi episode.

An arbitrary example shows how minimal and simple sacrifice on our part can contribute a lot during war time. Suppose out of 125 crores Hindus only 50 crores are financially capable to  consume 200 gram meat every week which costs rupees 100 per  head ,  RS 5000 crore per week and  a total of rupees 2.5 lakh crores (approx) for 52 weeks. So, if those solvent Hindus just stop such consumption for only one year, we can contribute rupees 2.5 lakh crores for war purpose. Now the question is whether we are ready for it or not.

But no such commitment on behalf of the nation is backing the government. There is no reflection of any such vigorous and sacrificial attitude of Hindus anywhere. But in case of German ,Japan,  Israel  we are accustomed to notice reverse pictures. Even  Ukraine is about to ruin due to war against Russia, but we have not noticed any mass agitation  against Zeleneski.

In these circumstances, if any Government plunge into war at its own will, there are enough possibilities that  these passive Hindus would stamp the government as war-hungry and raise peculiar questions such as :-

1)  Terrorist – sabotage or activities are not a regular matter. All muslims are not terrorists. Sometimes, in hilly area, tourist bus losses control and plunges into  deep George and a number of people are killed in such  accident. The  massacre by terrorists in Pulwama is like such an accident. The government has unnecessarily made arrangement for the death of 28000 people just to retailiate for the killing of only 28 people.

2) Crores and crores of rupees are being spent from national exchequer and economy is collapsing. Our comfort- lives are being distorted.

So, this war hungry Government should be removed. Because once a war begins, no one can say when it would end.

And no doubt, ” fifth columnists” like ‘ tookray tookray gang’, urban maoists, communists and ” Deep State” like anti-national groups would clandestinely instigate and accelerate such dubious attitude through social media campaigning. In this respect,  I just want to  quote few lines from a poem. At first the poet says :-

” It is the gun that fights.”

Then the poet rectifies this and further says –

” It is not the gun that fights.

It is the hands behind the gun that fight.”

The  poet again rectifies his comment and ultimately says –

”  It is not the hands behind the gun that fight.

“It is the tiny little heart behind the hands that fights. ”

Now, if we consider these few lines in a broader concept instead of individual level, it will be clear that all the arms  and ammunitions like morters, rockets , canons,  fighter jets,  naval ships are  equivalent  to “the gun” of earlier days  and ” the hands behind the gun” are  equivalent to the State or the government . At last “the tiny little heart behind the hands”  is equivalent to the nation’s bold attitude.

Therefore, unless Hindus as a nation don’t expose their Bold attitude , this situation would continue and the government would deliberately suffer from a dilemma for what to do. Hindus should be ” Aggressive and a little bit of Fanatic ” and should show the attitude as envisaged by the famous poet Robert Browning  in his poem ” Prospice” –

” “I was ever a fighter, so—one fight more,

The best and the last!

I would hate that death bandaged my eyes and forbore,

And bade me creep past.”

Only the word “I” should be replaced by “We”. And only then the Government i.e. “the hands” would get the signal from the Nation’s attitude i.e “the tiny little heart” and ” the gun” i.e. Raphael would take off, Bofors would roar and ” the best and the last fight” would be won.
