Kashmir’s Truth: Pakistan’s rants are a prelude to terror

The time has come to teach Pakistan’s puppeteers a lesson they cannot ignore: no rhetoric, no proxies and no occupation can withstand a nation resolved to end terror’s reign.

Last week’s gut wrenching massacre of innocent civilians in Pahalgam is not just a tragedy; it’s a glaring exposé of Pakistan’s insidious agenda. The blood spilled in Baisaran’s serene meadows screams a truth long veiled by diplomatic platitudes: Pakistan’s so called “moral support” for Kashmiris is nothing but a flimsy facade for its deep state’s obsession with perpetuating terror in Jammu & Kashmir. This cowardly assault, coming merely days after Pakistan’s Army Chief General Asim Munir’s belligerent “jugular vein” rhetoric is not an isolated event, it’s part of a sinister pattern. Time and again, fiery rhetoric from Pakistani officials has served as a diplomatic smokescreen, a prelude to bloodshed in Jammu and Kashmir. The people of Kashmir have learned this bitter truth: when Pakistan’s leaders and deep state masters rant about Kashmir, terror is never far behind.

The Pakistani deep state’s playbook is as predictable as it is perverse. Let us be clear that whenever a high-ranking Pakistani official, be it a general, a minister or a diplomat, takes to the podium, waxing lyrical about Kashmir as Pakistan’s “jugular vein” or pledging “moral support” for its “struggle.”, the world hears diplomacy but Kashmir hears a death knell. Within days, sometimes hours, the bullets fly, the bombs detonate and innocent lives are shattered. From the 2019 Pulwama attack to recent terror strikes, the timeline is unmistakable: Pakistan’s words are the spark and terror in J&K is the flame. The Pahalgam attack is just the latest chapter in this grim saga.

This pattern exposes Pakistan’s “Kashmir cause” for what it truly is: a meticulously crafted facade to mask its role as a perpetrator of terrorism. General Munir’s recent outburst wasn’t a one-off; it was a signal, a coded message to the terror networks nurtured by Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence. We’ve seen it before that whenever former leaders like Imran Khan or Pervez Musharraf would thunder about Kashmir’s “freedom”, violence would immediately erupt in Kashmir valley. The rhetoric is not about solidarity; it’s about setting the stage, deflecting blame and giving diplomatic cover to the chaos that follows. Kashmiris have decoded this cruel rhythm: a Pakistani rant means a terror attack is coming.

Many ask, why this obsession with J&K? For Pakistan’s deep state, Kashmir is more than a cause; it’s a lifeline. The military establishment thrives on the myth of Kashmir as an existential struggle, a unifying narrative to paper over Pakistan’s internal fractures. Economic crises, ethnic tensions and political dysfunction all fade into the background when the “Kashmir issue” is invoked. J&K is Pakistani deep state’s fallback; a way to rally a divided nation and justify the military’s iron grip on power. Stirring unrest in Kashmir isn’t just strategic, it’s existential. Without it, the fault lines within Pakistan would tear it apart.

The Pahalgam attack, targeting tourists in a region pulsing with life, reveals the deep state’s desperation. J&K is defying their script. Tourism is soaring, with millions drawn to its valleys and peaks. The Amarnath Yatra looms, promising lakhs of pilgrims. Every hotel booked, every local business thriving, every step toward normalcy is a rebuke to Pakistan’s terror machinery. They can’t stomach a peaceful Kashmir, because peace dismantles their narrative and exposes their irrelevance. So they lash out, using innocent blood to cling to their fading relevance.

The evidence is damning. Decades of ISI backed chaos, groups like Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammad, cross-border infiltrations and intercepted terror plans all point to Pakistan’s hand. Security forces in J&K are dismantling these networks, but the root lies across the border, where rants from Islamabad signal the next wave of violence. The international community must wake up. Pakistan’s “diplomatic support” is a euphemism for terrorism, its “moral stance” a prelude to massacres. The UN, global powers and human rights groups must hold Islamabad accountable, not just for Pahalgam but for a decades long campaign of destabilization. The world must understand that although Indian security forces are fighting the good fight, this is a global battle against terror and terror sponsors and therefore needs cumulative efforts.

Kashmir is not Pakistan’s “jugular vein”. It’s a land of beauty, culture and indomitable spirit, yearning to breathe free from the shadow of violence. Let’s call out the Pakistani deep state for what it is: a perpetrator of terror, clinging to J&K to mask its own failures. The blood staining Pahalgam’s serene meadows cries out for more than mourning. It demands justice that pierces the heart of Pakistan’s terror machinery and reshapes the future of Jammu & Kashmir. Neutralizing the Pakistani ISI’s henchmen within J&K’s borders, though valiant, is a fleeting retribution that cannot atone for the lives lost in this meticulously planned massacre, orchestrated by Pakistan’s deep state and brazenly signaled by General Asim Munir’s “jugular vein” rhetoric. The foot soldiers operating in J&K at Pakistani deep state’s behest are nothing but pawns; the real architects of this carnage operate from across the Line of Control, shielded by Pakistan’s illegal occupation of territory that rightfully belongs to India. For decades, this occupied land has served as a breeding ground for terror camps, funneling death into Kashmir’s valleys while Pakistan’s leaders cloak their complicity in diplomatic platitudes. India must now summon the courage for bold, transformative action. It must not just avenge Pahalgam, but settle the Kashmir issue once and for all. By reclaiming our lawful territory and dismantling the ISI’s terror infrastructure at its source, India can sever the lifeline of Pakistan’s deep state, exposing its hollow narrative and crippling its ability to sow chaos. This is not mere retribution; it is a moral imperative to protect Kashmir’s indomitable spirit and secure its dream of peace. The time has come to teach Pakistan’s puppeteers a lesson they cannot ignore: no rhetoric, no proxies and no occupation can withstand a nation resolved to end terror’s reign.
