Though the world is rapidly expanding in every material area of life through the use of technology and science, which is commendable, are we truly happy, joyful, nature-conscious, and living to truly live, or have we mechanised our lives, forgetting love, bonding, and societal ideals. We will be celebrating 100 years of independence in 2047; how should we put effort and focus in the coming decades to make Bharat great again, with peace, joy, and increased socioeconomic strength? Let’s see how we can work together to change the fate of this magnificent nation.
Why should Bharat not be a superpower?
When we entered “Amrit Kal” and wished for Bharat to become “Vishwaguru” by 2047. What does this mean? Does this refer to a superpower such as the United States, Russia, or China? Absolutely not. We do not want to become a superpower, which implies ego, greed, immorality, exploitation of natural resources, developing and underdeveloped nations, a culture of conflicts and wars to control the world, economic irregularities, and so on. So, how should Bharat appear in 2047, when we will have a $30 trillion economy, the greatest defense forces, and a massive workforce?
What exactly does “Vishwaguru” mean?
We must create a nation in which every citizen develops personal and national character. National ethos and nation-first mindset will take precedence over selfish behavior. When such a mindset develops, a nation with strong societal bonds experiences massive socioeconomic progress while also protecting and managing the environment. When such a worldview emerges, not only can individuals, societies, and nations thrive, but the entire globe benefits socially, economically, and spiritually. No nation will be exploited or dominated for selfish reasons; instead, developing and underdeveloped nations will be encouraged in all aspects of nation building. This is the true meaning of Vishwaguru.
We say “lively nation” because if it isn’t, it’s just a piece of land where violence, crime, injustice, hatred, and inequality are all part of a society. Deendayal ji Upadhyay put it this way: “We are a nation and not a country, and we have been living example of the past if we study our historical facts, we will come to know our great heritage as a living nation.” When this mindset awakens in citizens, people and society live in harmony, a bond of living, and overcome obstacles together, happiness increases.
We do not believe in just raising the economic bar. It is critical to understand that economic growth in terms of GDP or any other economic metric should not come at the expense of weakening society by jeopardizing individual physical, mental, and social health, which will ultimately undermine society and the nation. When we look at the world’s current economic condition, we can see that alcohol, narcotics in many forms, pharmaceutical drugs, and medical requirements, exploitation of natural resources, and destruction of the environment and natural habitats all contribute significantly to GDP. If the nation receives more money as a result of these unnatural, unethical actions, such GDP is not worth appreciating.
We as Bharat nation should think that we shall work to create a healthier individual and society in terms of physical, mental, social, and economic health, with sanatan dharm principles serving as the foundation. We should forsake any economic expansion that jeopardizes the health of individuals, society, and the nation. Remember that a weaker society generates a weaker nation, thus it is critical that we do not sacrifice individual or societal health in order to demonstrate economic strength to the world. Sanatan dharma teaches and makes life more meaningful in all aspects of life. The wisdom and implementation of sanatan principles in real life increases life skills and knowledge, so contributing to the strength of society and nation.
A Self-Reliant Bharat for a Brighter Future
Self-reliance is the key to strengthen the nation. Focusing on self-reliance benefits the nation by creating employment opportunities, growing entrepreneurs, expanding global markets, upgrading technology, and building skills and knowledge. The Modi government launched Aatmanirbhar Bharat, and we are already seeing the results in terms of national strength. Governments, industrialists, and society must work together to strengthen every sector, including semiconductors, defense, manufacturing, artificial intelligence, space technology, agricultural produce, food technology, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, the digital world, and environmental management. This self-reliance should be achieved without causing harm to the environment or exploiting natural resources.
Research and development are essential to economic development.
No nation can grow socioeconomically if it does not devote sufficient resources to research and development, innovative ideas, and creativity. Research serves as the foundation for any nation’s progress. Bharat has a long history of research and innovation, Rishi Kanad, Bhaskaracharya II, and Acharya Shushrut, the list is long but we lost our research-oriented attitude when we were invaded by mughals and then Britishers, and Macaulay’s education system harmed us severely. The Modi government’s efforts in this approach are generating great outcomes in several areas, including start-ups and unicorns. More efforts are needed in the healthcare sector, particularly in Ayurvedic and homeopathic treatments. Defense, education, electronics, computers, software, and agriculture should all be heavily focused on development.
Focus on the New Education System and the ultimate eradication of Macaulay’s Education System
The most hazardous game played by Britishers against magnificent Bharat, with great cultural legacy and great nation despite all obstacles, was switching from the greatest education system to Macaulay’s worst education system, which made us weak and established a slave mindset. Even after independence, our colonial mindset persisted, preventing us from growing and developing to our full potential. Education is the foundation upon which a child’s innocent mind develops, producing a youth who molds the nation’s destiny. Here, our political parties have done the worst for our generations, resulting in poor growth on all fronts and harm to Bharat’s fundamental identity. The Modi government has introduced a new national education policy to effect the essential changes.
Breaking Bharat forces are highly opposed to the new education policy; but, every parent, school, university, and community should stand up and support the policy, which will bring about positive change in our future generations. Modern and ancient education will prepare our future generations for all elements of life, society, and the nation. The personal and national character will shape a youth who is research-oriented, innovative and creative, has great entrepreneurial ability, values equality and equanimity, and develops altruistic tendencies. This manner, we can realize our vision of making Bharat great again. Right education based on Sanatan principles would lead to us becoming Vishwaguru again.
Focus on rural development to reach the 30 trillion dollar economy
We have over 6 lakh villages in our country, and agriculture and related practices account for over 70% of our economy. As a result, the primary focus should be on rural development while respecting their cultural identity. Rural development focuses on better agricultural techniques, businesses associated with agricultural produce, and requirements without affecting the environment. Development should promote both modern and traditional customs in a balanced manner. Rural tourism that emphasizes cultural heritage, lifestyle, and way of life should be promoted. Small enterprises, such as dairy and dairy products, apiculture, and so on, should be supported technologically and financially with a modern strategy in order to compete. If rural development succeeds, achieving a $30 trillion economy by 2047 is not unrealistic.
Peace and power are both interrelated
The military might, economic might, and political power are not intended to exploit any nation, but they do have a significant relationship with peace. If a country possesses strong military and economic might, as well as the appropriate mentality, no other country will consider invading it. We have witnessed in the past that when we were weak, Pakistan would threaten us on a daily basis and fire frequently at our borders. China seized part of our nation during PM Nehru’s term and utilized various means to expand its hold, but under PM Modi’s leadership, as our military, economic, and political prowess has grown, Pakistan and China have become more mute.
Bharat’s concept prioritizes enrichment and peace for all nations, creating a beneficial and healthy global environment. Our educational system should include both types of training, one for technical skills and another for millitary skills, for all pupils of a specific age. This shifts the colonial attitude to a nationalist mindset. If Globe wishes to follow in the footsteps of Bharat and Bharatiyatva, we must move quickly in the right direction.
The world has witnessed the European way of ideology, as well as the American, Russian, and Chinese ways of rule and ideological practices; yet, each method and practice has failed. The proven doctrine and methods of Sanatan dharm in ancient Bharat are urgently needed, and the world is turning to us to resolve difficulties and create peace and harmony. It is time for every Bharatiya to wake up and work to better themselves, their communities, their nation, and the globe.
