Legal issues are escalating for Christian evangelist Pastor Bajinder Singh as multiple women who previously worked in his “Ministry” have come forward with allegations of sexual exploitation.

One of the victims, interviewed by Republic TV, shared her disturbing experience and made serious allegations against Pastor Bajinder. She claimed that he sexually assaulted her after sedating her and recorded the incident. She further accused him of using the video to blackmail her, forcing her into multiple assaults. The victim explained that she first came in contact with Pastor Bajinder Singh in 2016-17, during a challenging time when her husband was struggling with drug addiction. She visited his church after hearing about his miraculous healing powers, hoping he could help cure her husband’s addiction. “I met him for the first time in 2016-17 when I was facing a lot of difficulties at home. Someone recommended I visit him, saying that miracles happened there,” the victim told Republic TV.

Pastor Bajinder invited the victim to his “personal meetings.” She explained that after looking up his Facebook page to learn more about him, she was impressed by his claims of performing miracles that could heal various diseases. “I started visiting his church at Sector 23, Bal Bhavan. He (Pastor Bajinder Singh) got my phone number through his volunteers, who later called me and told me about his ‘personal’ meetings. They mentioned that ‘Prophet Ji’ holds different types of meetings, such as Diamond and Gold meetings,” the victim said. Over time, Pastor Bajinder began inviting her to these “personal meetings” regularly.

The victim further alleged that Pastor Bajinder lured her with promises of making her the head of his “UK Ministry” and sending her to the UK. She recalled the first time he sexually exploited her, claiming that on that day, he called her for a meeting, and when she arrived, he sedated her and sexually assaulted her. “I don’t remember anything because I was sedated, but the pain in my body made it clear that something was wrong,” she said, breaking down as she recounted the traumatic experience. She claimed that Pastor Bajinder continued to assault her on multiple occasions and threatened to release the video of the abuse if she didn’t comply. The victim also alleged that Pastor Bajinder physically attacked her on one occasion after she refused to meet him.

The victim also accused Pastor Bajinder of running a religious conversion racket, allegedly funded through Hawala channels. She claimed that he enticed people by offering “spiritual packages” of different categories, such as Silver, Gold, and Diamond, in which individuals were promised exclusive access to him in exchange for large sums of money. “The so-called miracles and healings he performs are nothing more than staged acts,” she stated. The victim further accused Bajinder of practising black magic, alleging that he forced her to collect skulls from cremation grounds. She called on the authorities to take strict action against Bajinder, whom she claims has exploited numerous women like herself. “Many women have suffered at his hands, but they are too scared to speak out. Don’t fall for his deceit in the name of faith. Even the Bible cannot protect him from his crimes,” she urged.

Victim Expresses Concern for Family’s Safety Amid Pastor Bajinder’s Threats

Another victim, whose physical assault by Pastor Bajinder was captured on CCTV and went viral, has expressed serious concerns for her and her family’s safety. The victim, who resigned from Bajinder’s Ministry after the assault on February 13, accused him of threatening to kill her husband and child.

In an interview with the media, the victim shared how those who speak out against Bajinder face retaliation from him and his supporters. She claimed that Bajinder uses various methods to silence his critics, including fabricating sexual harassment cases against men who challenge him. She also revealed that the sexual exploitation of women in his Ministry was widespread. The victim has filed a formal case against Pastor Bajinder. The Mohali Police have launched an investigation based on her complaint.

On March 24, the police recorded the victim’s statement. “Four pastors from Kurali and nearby areas have also filed complaints against Bajinder, alleging disputes after wanting to leave his Ministry and work independently. One woman pastor claimed she was repeatedly slapped and humiliated by Bajinder in his office, and another victim made similar accusations,” the police reported. Additionally, a 22-year-old woman filed a case against Pastor Bajinder on February 28, accusing him of sexual harassment, criminal intimidation, and stalking.
