Bengaluru: The Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha (ABPS) of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh is set to take place in Bengaluru from March 21-23, 2025. The Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha is the highest decision-making body and is organised every year. This year the ABPS will held in the premises of Janseva Vidya Kendra, located at Channenahalli near Bengaluru.

The annual report (Karyavritta) of the last year (2024-25) of the Sangh will be presented and discussed in the Baithak. Along with a critical analysis of it, reporting on special initiatives of the last year by various Prants and units of the Sangh will also be done.

While addressing the media at Janseva Vidya Kendra on March 19, RSS Akhil Bharatiya Prachar Pramukh, Sunil Ambekar, informed that the meeting will commence on the morning of March 21 at 9 AM and will continue until the evening of March 23.

“From the perspective of the RSS, this is the most important meeting. The RSS Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale will present the report of the previous year’s work done by the Sangh, covering aspects such as Shakha activities, special programs, and initiatives,” he said.

Additionally, representatives from different Prants across the country will present the report of work done in their respective Prants, including initiatives, special programs, and analysis of the ground work, he said.
“As the RSS completes 100 years on Vijayadashami in 2025, there will be a review of Shakha expansion and targets. The year 2025-2026 will be observed as the centenary year of the RSS, and this meeting will finalise decisions regarding the programs to be conducted during the period. This year, efforts will also be made to expand the reach of Sangh thought and work and increase public participation in it,” he further said.

“The Panch Parivartan, five key points for social transformation namely samajik samarasata (social harmony), kutumb Prabodhan, paryavaran (environmental awareness), the insistence on ‘Swa’ (selfhood) and the duties of the citizens will also be discussed,” he added.

Karyakartas from different Prants will share their experiences, insights, and thoughts on national interest, he informed.

He further said that two resolutions will be passed during this meeting:
1.)The first resolution will be on the concerning developments in Bangladesh, atrocities on Hindus and other minorities and the way forward

2.) A Resolution will be on the journey of the RSS in the last 100 years, activities during the centenary year and the path ahead

During the Pratinidhi Sabha, a statement will be release on the contributions of Rani Abakka, commemorating her 500th birth anniversary.

Regarding the training programs of RSS (Prashikshan Varg and Karyakarta Vikas Varg), Sunil Ambekar informed that there will be 95 Pratham Vargs and Dwitīya Vargs for Swayamsewaks this year, scheduled between April and June. Among them, 72 Vargs will be for those under 40 years of age, and 23 Vargs for those aged 40 and above.

The ABPS will also finalise the plans for the nation-wide Pravas by Pujaniya Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat ji, he said.

On March 23 at 11:30 AM, the Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale will address the press and inform them about the discussions held in the Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha.

Regarding the work done in the last few years, Sunil Ambekar said, “Over the past four years, considering our centenary year, our Swayamsewaks have reached remote areas, increasing the number of Shakhas and expanding RSS activities. More and more young people are joining the RSS, with 1.2 lakh individuals connecting with us every year through join RSS link on our website.”

“Not just in Bangladesh, RSS is deeply committed to the pride and security of Hindus worldwide, especially where Hindus face atrocities,” he said while answering a question on the atrocities against Hindus.

Sunil Ambekar also condemned the violence in Nagpur, Maharashtra and said that any type of violence is detrimental to the health of society. “Any type of violence is not good for the health of society. I think the police have taken cognizance of the incident and will look into the details,” he said.

On being asked whether Aurangzeb is relevant today, Sunil Ambekar responded, “No, he is not relevant today.”

RSS Sarsanghchalak Dr Mohan Bhagwat, Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale, all six Sah-Sarkaryavahs, and all members of the executive will be present during the meeting.
