After the successful conclusion of the Mahakumbh in Prayagraj from 13 January to 26 February 2025, Organiser Weekly (English) and Panchajanya Weekly (Hindi) of Bharat Prakashan (Delhi) Limited organised a one-day confluence, Manthan, on March 12, 2025, at Hotel Taj, Lucknow.
The inaugural session, titled Mahakumbh Ke Maharaj, began with the lighting of diyas by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the chief guest. Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak was also present for the ceremony.
Answering a question on the unnecessary mention of tyrant Aurangzeb, he said, “Forcibly seizing someone’s sacred sites and trampling upon faith is absolutely unacceptable—especially when it comes to Sambhal, which holds historical truth. After 56 years, the ancient Shiv Mandir in Sambhal was reopened, allowing devotees to perform Jalabhishek on Mahashivratri… The riots 56 years ago were a deliberate attempt to erase Hindu identity.”

He further added, “Whoever has tampered with Bharat’s faith has ultimately perished… Why ask someone else to speak about Aurangzeb? Shah Jahan himself writes in his biography, mentioning that no one should have the misfortune of having a son like him. He curses Aurangzeb, saying, ‘A Hindu is better than you. At least a Hindu serves his elderly parents while they are alive and, after their passing, offers water through Shradh and Tarpan once a year. But you, a wretched son, made me suffer for every single drop of water.’ Aurangzeb is the same person who had his own brother slaughtered. If someone admires Aurangzeb, they should proudly name their children after him—I will be the first to congratulate them. But they must also be prepared to face the consequences. May Ishwar grant them wisdom so they learn to respect Bharat’s great leaders. This is a new Bharat—one that does not glorify those who acted with cruelty towards our nation. The new Bharat knows how to honour its faith and is determined to establish itself as the world’s largest economy… Stop glorifying foreign invaders, or when truths like Sambhal come to light, there will be nowhere left to hide.”
