Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat will formally inaugurate Abhyas Varg (training camp) of Vidya Bharati for karyakartas of Akhil Bharatiya Shiksha Sansthan in Bhopal on March 4. This camp will be held at Saraswati Vidya Mandir Residential School in Sharda Vihar from March 3 to 8. More than 700 full-time karyakartas from across the country will participate in this class.

Vidya Bharati’s All India President Dusi Ramakrishna Rao conveyed that, Madhya Pradesh Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Vishwas Kailash Sarang, Vidya Bharati’s All India President Dusi Ramakrishna Rao and Organising Secretary Govind Mahant will inaugurate an exhibition, a day before the camp on March 3 at 10 am. This exhibition will present a glimpse of Bharat’s glorious past and bright future. It will include topics like Vidya Bharati’s national contribution, Sainik School, COVID-19 service work, the heroic saga of Rani Durgavati, Mata Ahilyabai Holkar’s public service contribution and religious-cultural heritage of Madhya Pradesh.

Cultural Program and Village Darshan
There will be a cultural programme based on Panch Parivartan on March 5, at 7:15 pm. On March 6, the karyakartas will visit the Sanskar Kendras of 40 villages run by Sharda Vihar, so that they can see the changes taking place in the society.

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav and Vidya Bharati’s senior margadarshak (guide) Suresh Soni will be the chief guests at the closing ceremony on March 8. RSS Sah Sarkaryavah (Joint General Secretary) Krishna Gopal will be present throughout the camp. Other dignitaries will include Vidya Bharati President Dusi Ramakrishna Rao, Organising Secretary Govind Mahant, Joint Organising Secretary Yatindra Sharma, Shriram Aravkar, Nikhilesh Maheshwari, Mohanlal Gupta and Shiromani Dubey.

Know about Vidya Bharati
Rao said that Vidya Bharati, which started the first Saraswati Shishu Mandir in Gorakhpur in 1952, today runs more than 12 thousand formal schools in 684 districts of the country. These include more than 100 residential schools, out of which 200 are affiliated to CBSE and the rest to the state board. Apart from this, more than 9400 informal education centers are being run free of cost, which are spread across remote tribal areas and seva bastis of metropolitan cities. About 36 lakh students’ study in these institutions and 1,54,000 teachers are working. Vidya Bharati is contributing to education and development through 60 colleges and a university as well as ITI, Krishi Vigyan Kendra and Skill Development Centers. This organisation provides education in 20 out of 22 languages of the 8th Schedule of the Constitution.
