Kabirdham: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Wednesday, January 29 said that the tribal (Adivasi/Janjati) community is biggest followers of Sanatan Dharma who has been worshipping the essence of Sanatan Dharma since centuries.
Sai was speaking at 13th “Virat Hindu Sangam” organised at Bodla of Kabirdham district on the occasion of Mauni Amavasya. Addressing the gathering CM Sai asserted that “tribals are the biggest Hindus.”
“Tribal are biggest Hindus. The tribal community has been worshipping Bhagwan Shiva, Mata Parvati and Mother Nature since ages; we (tribal community) do Karma Puja while our mothers and sisters observe fasts for Karma, who else can be a bigger Hindu than us, said CM Sai.
pic.twitter.com/AbFbO2ssiO

CM Sai cautioned the people of the community, stating “that efforts are being made to break the community and the Janjati Samaj needs to be cautious from such elements.”
Chhattisgarh Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma and several other senior leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party were also among the attendees at the program.
At the outset, CM Sai along with Deputy CM Sharma participated in a Yajna and prayed for the prosperity and well-being of the people of the State. Revered Hindu Sants and office bearers of Vishva Hindu Parishad were also present at the occasion. The program was first organised in the year 2011-12 and was a yearly affair since then.
It is worth mentioning here, that the incumbent Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai is the first CM of the State from the tribal community, who has a dominant presence in the State.
