NEW DELHI: ABVP candidates for Delhi University Students’ Union (DUSU) elections, including Presidential candidate Rishabh Chaudhary, Vice President candidate, Bhanu Pratap Singh, Secretary candidate, Mitravinda Karanwal, and Joint Secretary candidate, Aman Kapasiya did their campaigning in various colleges in North Campus, including Shri Ram College of Commerce, Ramjas College, Khalsa College, Kirorimal college, and colleges in off campus including Dyal Singh College, College of Vocational Studies today and received tremendous support from the students. More than 5000 students affiliated with ABVP are campaigning in all 52 colleges for the DUSU election and spreading awareness by distributing the ABVP manifesto to the students talking about the holistic development of Delhi University.
Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad is getting tremendous support from the students due to its year-long activities helping students in their academics and holistic development. The manifesto released by ABVP reflects the real issues of the students. ABVP has completed promises made in the previous year’s DUSU manifesto including U-Special buses run by ABVP-led DUSU’s efforts, strengthening of women security, efforts for the approval for construction of new hostels, organising programmes like internships for skill development have won the trust of DU students.
ABVP Delhi State Secretary, Harsh Attri, stated that Delhi University Students’ Union election is a celebration of democracy at the students’ level. All students should participate in the voting process. If ABVP wins the DUSU election this year, we will work on the infrastructural development of Delhi University by building new hostels, new libraries, etc and other Post Covid issues faced by the students. ABVP will continue to work tirelessly for the benefit of students in Delhi University including raising voice for women’s safety, better amenities for sports and other curricular activities in colleges.
