Tensions are rising in Malda, West Bengal, following a distressing incident where the revered murti of Bhagwan Vishwakarma was vandalised at a local Puja Mandap. This act of desecration, unprecedented in its nature for the region, has sparked widespread condemnation and calls for justice.

Unidentified miscreants decapitated the murti of Bhagwan Vishwakarma and broke its hands. This was discovered by locals the following morning.
