The situation rapidly escalated when the attackers, not content with just throwing water, began to pelt stones at the procession. Reports indicate that hot water was also thrown onto the Ganesh murti, further intensifying the hostility. Amidst the chaos, two Hindu boys were brutally beaten by the assailants. Their injuries underscored the severity of the attack and the targeted violence faced by the Hindu community during what was meant to be a celebratory occasion.

The Army and Police responded quickly to the unfolding violence. Their timely arrival helped restore order and mitigate further escalation of the situation. The Police managed to detain several individuals involved in the attack, though the exact number and their affiliations are still under investigation.
