According to reports from CNN, the aircraft, identified as flight 2283 (PS-VPB), took off from Cascavel in Paraná province and was en route to Guarulhos Airport when it encountered difficulties. Eyewitness footage shared shows the plane spiraling and descending rapidly before the crash.

In a statement released on Facebook, Voepass confirmed the accident and expressed its commitment to supporting those affected. “Voepass has activated all means to support those involved. There is still no confirmation of how the accident occurred or the current condition of the people on board,” the airline stated. They have set up a dedicated helpline at 0800 9419712, available 24 hours a day, to provide information to passengers, family members, and employees.

The airline emphasized that it is taking all necessary measures to assist those impacted by the crash, although specifics regarding the cause of the accident and the status of those on board have yet to be confirmed.

As the situation develops, authorities are expected to conduct a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash. More information will be provided as it becomes available.
