“Not from our lobby”: Northern Railway CPRO exposes Rahul Gandhi’s claim of interacting with loco-pilots

The Chief Public Relations Officer (CPRO) of Northern Railway has commented on Rahul Gandhi's recent interactions with loco-pilots, pointing out that their lobby did not arrange them. This suggests a discrepancy in Rahul Gandhi's portrayal of the visit, implying that the individuals he engaged with may not have been genuine loco-pilots

The Chief Public Relations Officer (CPRO) of Northern Railway has commented on Rahul Gandhi’s recent interactions with loco-pilots, stating that their lobby did not arrange them

After Rahul Gandhi’s visit to the New Delhi Railway Station, Northern Railway’s Chief Public Relations Officer (CPRO), Deepak Kumar, pointed out that the crew members with whom the Leader of Opposition discussed the event were not part of their designated lobby, implying discrepancies in the portrayal of the event.

“Today at around 12:45 pm Rahul Gandhi came to New Delhi Railway Station. He saw our crew lobby. He had 7-8 cameramen with him. He visited our crew lobby and checked into how we book our crew lobby. After coming out of the crew lobby he had a discussion with a few people. There were around 7-8 crew who were not from our lobby but it seems that they were from outside. Since he has 7-8 cameramen, he was filming them and making reels,” stated CPRO Deepak Kumar, highlighting the orchestrated nature of Rahul Gandhi’s visit and interactions, which critics may argue was more about optics and media attention than genuine engagement with railway issues.

He stressed, ‘The loco-pilots were not from our lobby. It seems that they were brought in from outside,’ emphasising the potential orchestration of the interaction to create a specific narrative rather than reflecting genuine concerns or insights from railway personnel.

Congress MP Rahul Gandhi met loco pilots at the New Delhi Railway Station on July 5 after visiting the families affected by the Hathras stampede.

“Leader of Opposition Shri @RahulGandhi met the loco pilots at New Delhi Railway Station. These loco pilots are the backbone of the railways which is called the lifeline of the country. Making their lives simpler and safer will be a strong step towards railway safety,” the Congress said in a post on ‘X’.

It seems Third Time Fail Rahul Gandhi went to meet loco pilots, this afternoon, with eight cameramen and a director in tow. You can count them…
What is more bizarre is that he didn’t meet actual loco pilots. In all probability they were professional actors, brought in by his… pic.twitter.com/UvvMXPxDZu

BJP leader Amit Malviya posted on Instagram and wrote, ‘It seems that Rahul Gandhi, who failed for the third time, went to meet the loco pilots in the afternoon, he was accompanied by eight cameramen and a director. You can count them… What is even more strange is that he did not meet real loco pilots. It is quite likely that they were professional actors, who were called by his team.’

Amit Malviya’s post questions the authenticity of Rahul Gandhi’s visit, suggesting it was staged with a large media contingent and possibly actors instead of genuine loco pilots.
