Bhiku Mhatre was arrested on May 19, a day ahead of polling in the Lok Sabha Elections. This clearly shows the vindictive attitude of the Congress Party, which does not practice what it preaches. The arrest of Mhatre is a clear indication that stifling the voices of those who expose the Congress Party runs in the blood of its leaders. History clearly reveals that in the past, that is, in 1975 too, the then PM of India, Indira Gandhi, had done the same as she had imposed an emergency and silenced the voice of the fourth pillar of democracy in India.

Meanwhile, the release of Bhiku Mhatre was lauded by the BJP leaders as well as the netizens who worked day and night to ensure his release at the earliest.

Vinod Tawde (Modi Ka Parivar)  BJP National General Secretary, hailed the decision to grant relief to Bhiku Mhatre and came down heavily on the Congress Party for wringfully arresting the social media activist.

Truth prevails! Delighted to hear that @MumbaichaDon has been granted interim bail after being wrongfully arrested by Karnataka Police.

Let's continue to stand together for truth and freedom of expression. Shame on the Congress Karnataka government for trying to kill democracy.

Another Congress leader, Tejaswi Surya of the BJP stated that  he is confident that the High Court too will quash the politically mooted case against Bhiku Mhatre.

Trial Court allows interim bail in @MumbaichaDon case.

Slap on face of fascist Congress Karnataka Govt.

I am confident HC will quash this politically motivated case in the next hearing.

Thanks to all, especially senior leaders of BJP, who took personal care in this matter.

Netizen Sunanda Roy, denounced the Congress party for wilfully arresting Bhiku Mhtare and expressed joy at his being granted bail.

GOOD NEWS: Bhiku Mhatre aka @MumbaichaDon got interior bail from the trial court.

This one is a tight slap on Karnataka Congress Dictator govt.

Thanks to @smritiirani di, @Tejasvi_Surya bhaiya and @amitmalviya ji for your efforts. This will help us to get more motivated. pic.twitter.com/JhdAGwJs9w

Another netizen, Hrishikesh Kumar Pathak, stated that backing the BJP supporters during difficult times will boost their confidence.

Such efforts must continue in the future to boost @BJP4India supporters' confidence and motivate others to join the BJP's ideology and journey.

Thanks to everyone who raised their voices on social media, and special thanks to you , @BJP4Karnataka and @Girishvhp ji.

The Karanataka Government has openly showcased its dictatorial attitude as it apprehended renowned social media activist @BhikuMahtre for openly exposing the Congress Party manifesto on . Bhiku Mhatre took to X and stated that the Congress wanted to intimidate him for speaking the truth, and he was prepared to fight against any injustice & would take the full judicial course, even if that meant approaching the highest court. He added that he had not written anything that was inflammatory or communal.

So it seems CONgress wants to intimidate me for speaking Truth. I'm ready to fight against any injustice & will take full Judicial Course even if that means approaching Highest Court, as I have never written anything which may be called as inflammatory or communal.

It is important to mention  that most of the journalists & social media activists have faced police actions by the I.N.D.I Alliance state governments in the past for exposing them.
