India has made a big leap in the world of smart AI with Hanooman! India’s very own “largest multilingual and affordable GenAI platform.”It is a special AI tool made by SML India, a company from India, along with 3AI Holding from Abu Dhabi. Hanooman is a revolutionary super smart tool, proficient in understanding and responding in a remarkable 98 languages, including 12 Indian languages such as Hindi and Tamil.

The launch of Hanooman marks a significant milestone in India’s AI landscape. It is all about making AI available to everyone in the country. Unlike many existing GenAI platforms primarily available in English, but Hanooman speaks lots of languages, including Indian ones, so those who are not English speakers can also make use of it. Hanooman can do lots of things like write, translate languages, and even create stuff. This makes it useful for things like talking chatbots or helpful AI assistants we use every day.

Hanooman is free to use right now, and you can access it either on the Internet or through an Android app. An iPhone/ iOS app is coming out soon. Although you can use it for free at the moment, there might be a paid version or premium subscription available later in 2024.

Co-founder and CEO of SML India, Vishnu Vardhan thinks Hanooman will help 200 million people in a year. He says Hanooman is special because it works in Indian languages and its is what makes it as a key differentiator. He says most Indians don’t know English well, so Hanooman helps them use AI easily and makes AI technology more accessible to the masses.

Arjun Prasad, who runs 3AI Holding, says Hanooman’s goal is to make AI fair for everyone in India. He underscores Hanooman’s unique proposition, being built, designed, and storing data within India, fostering inclusivity and catering to diverse users irrespective of their background or location.

During the launch, SML India announced partnerships with big companies like HP, NASSCOM, and Yotta. They plan to help AI startups and come up with new ideas in finance and technology. They’ll also work with lots of colleges and do research together. With Yotta, they’ll get better computer power using GPU cloud systems, which will make them even stronger in the field of AI. Hanooman’s arrival shows how good India is at making new AI stuff. It’s set to change how lots of people use technology, making it easier for everyone to understand, no matter what language they speak. This helps everyone, making sure nobody feels left out, and helps the whole country grow together.

Hanooman shows how good India is at making high-tech AI right here at home. This matches what Prime Minister Modi wants, which is to use technology to help the economy grow and bring in more innovation. Hanooman fits perfectly with Modi’s Digital India plan, which is all about making India a place where everyone can use technology and gain knowledge. By giving people access to smart AI in lots of different languages, Hanooman helps make sure everyone, whether they live in cities or in the countryside, can benefit from the digital world.

Under Modi’s leadership, initiatives such as Skill India and Make in India focus on training people to have the right skills for today’s digital world. Hanooman, being easy to use and able to do many things, can help people learn new skills or improve the ones they already have. This fits with the government’s goal of helping more people find jobs and start their own businesses by giving them the tools they need to succeed.

Hanooman being able to speak 98 languages shows that India is really good at AI stuff, and people around the world are noticing. Prime Minister Modi wants India to be known for its cool inventions and high-tech solutions, and Hanooman is helping make that happen by being so versatile. Using AI to help people, boost the economy, and make India a leader in technology worldwide, Hanooman shows how technology can make big changes when leaders have good ideas.
