In an upcoming interview with news agency Asian News International (ANI), Prime Minister Narendra Modi took on the I.N.D.I Alliance, questioning the Congress party’s support for the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK), which he described as “born out of hatred for Sanatan Dharma.”

PM Modi’s remarks on the DMK’s alleged anti-Hindu stance come amidst growing political tensions in Tamil Nadu, where the DMK is facing criticism from the BJP. He suggested that the Congress Party’s support for the DMK raises questions about its principles and motivations.

According to PM Modi, the issue of the Ram Mandir has been exploited as a political weapon by the Opposition, but with the construction of the temple, the issue has been taken out of their hands. He highlighted the anger among the people of Tamil Nadu against the DMK government, suggesting a positive shift in sentiment towards the BJP.

Looking ahead to the future, PM Modi outlined his vision for 2047, emphasising the need to accelerate both the speed and scale of development. Contrasting the BJP’s model with that of the Congress, he presented a choice between decades of work under Congress rule versus the BJP’s vision for progress in just 10 years.

Responding to allegations regarding electoral bonds, PM Modi defended the BJP’s initiative, stating that it has increased transparency by providing a money trail for donations to political parties. He expressed confidence that introspection would lead the opposition to regret their criticisms of the electoral bond system.

On the topic of Elon Musk’s visit to India, PM Modi expressed appreciation for the entrepreneur’s admiration of him but emphasised that Musk’s primary allegiance is to Bharat, indicating his fondness for the country.

The interview with ANI provides insight into PM Modi’s perspective on various issues, highlighting his firm stance on political matters and his vision for India’s future. As the country prepares for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, PM Modi’s comments are likely to fuel further debate and discussion among political observers and the general public alike.
