Manonmaniam Sundaranar University has released the TNSET 2024 Notification. The TNSET 2024 Application Form is open from April 1 to April 30, 2024, for all interested and eligible candidates. The last day to pay the TNSET 2024 Application Fee is May 2, 2024.
After the application process, registered candidates can make corrections to their application form from May 3 to May 4, 2024. The TNSET 2024 exam will be tentatively conducted from June 03 to 25, 2024. Aspirants must go through a comprehensive selection process, including a written exam and document verification, to qualify for the Assistant Professor position.

How to Fill the TNSET 2024 Application Form?
Candidates can follow the steps given below to fill TNSET Application Form 2024:
Step 1: Go to the official website of the Manorama Sundaranar University at msuniv.ac.in.
Step 2: Navigate to the “Examination” section and then click on the “SET Online Application” link available under the Announcement table.
Step 3: Register yourself using your own Email ID and Mobile Number.
Step 4: Log in using your registration credentials, fill in the online application form, and note down the system-generated application number.
Step 5: Upload scanned images of documents, including passport-size photographs and signatures.
Step 6: Pay the application fee using a Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking/UPI and keep proof of fee paid.
Step 7: Click on the submit button after reviewing your details carefully and then download the confirmation page of the application form for future reference.
Candidates have to pay an application fee of TNSET 2024 through debit, credit or net banking means to complete the application process. The application fee is INR 2,500/- for general category candidates, INR 2,000/- for BC/ BCM/ DNC and INR 800/- for SC/ SCA/ ST/ PWD category candidates. There is no fee for candidates from Transgender category.
To be eligible for TNSET 2024, candidates need to meet the below-mentioned criteria:
● Hold a Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks (50% for reserved categories) from UGC-recognized institutions.
● Provisional applicants awaiting results are also eligible.
● Ph.D. holders before September 19, 1991, get a 5% relaxation.
● Holders of foreign degrees must contact AIU, New Delhi, to confirm equivalency.
● Age Limit (As of July 01, 2024): No age restrictions
Tamil Nadu State Eligibility Test (TNSET) is conducted as a state-level examination in Tamil Nadu to recruit eligible candidates for the post of Assistant Professor or Lectureship in Tamil Nadu’s universities and colleges.
